Why would you buy a cup over a full fat 172?

the only bit of advice you need is:

drive as many as possible, of all variants and make the decison on which you tihnk is best for you and your needs.

edit - forgot to say, if your a charva, buy a 172 mk2. no thought needed ;)
 
Got to love the cup/ff banter

When I brought my FF I didn't even consider the cup.

Saw one ages ago in the Renault showroom but didn't really know what it was so kind of forgot to look at them and just went for the lowest mileage for price 172/182 etc I could find.
 
flame red is very nice, i'd have a full fat 172 purely for a/c (and i am a big time charva)

if you make it to fcs the only thing that youre gonna be in doing over 60mph is an ambulance!

Go with the Cup - the way cars should be. None of this computer intervention that just adds weight and takes away the skill and fun of driving. Aircon and xenons are not required, although I live in Scotland so when we see the sun, we go indoors!

Oh and on subject get a Golf with a bigger engine, it'll be as quick, you'll get more toys, more comfort and f**k all will go wrong! ;)

There's one stood somewhere in the middle of a road in leicester for some reason, causing tailbacks only a chav in a 172 mk2 could cause in one of his big efforts at an accident!

still going fooking hell, well the choice has come down to a CUP or a phase 1 172 lol think the cup is a winner tho, more abusive..............lead the way people!

Look at GT Gaz's Although i prefer'd it with the 2020's!

Ph1 172's look too soft at the bak and are arther dated. great value tho.

Ph2 172's look the best imo, whether it be the cup or not.
