Thought id show pics of my last 2 cars too.(Im very bored) I had the 16v, then went for a 205 1.9GTI. Oh how i made a mistake.Nothing againt 205s but the one i had was absolutely battered!!!! Thats how im back with the williams! The 16v was really clean except for curbed alloys, and the arches on the passenger side we starting to rust.

If anyone knows how to change the pics so u dont have to click on the link each time that would be great.

P.S My williams at the mo isnt my old 16v with wheels stuck on!

Nice mate, but your wheels have been re-furbed wrong im affraid, they should have a polished rim

Oh and if i was you, id lose the K&N piece of sh*t mate, is doing more harm then good, fit a closed induction kit or fit the standard airbox with a performance filter.

smokey, why do you say the filter is doing more harm than good?

i spoke to nick at hill power the other day and they are due to develop a new williams/ 16v induction kit and he says he is staying with a open filter type like the one in the picture.

All the open kits do is suck in warm air from the engine bay which is the total opposite of what you want, go for a blast and as soon as you stop pop your bonnet and feel the heat that comes out, the colder/denser the air is the more fuel it can draw in which = more horses/better responce etc.

I would put money on tha fact it is down on power from standard airbox.

At the end of the day why are they so cheap compared to Viper/BMC etc.

Hill powers one that relocates to where the washer bottle is, is another matter, i dont know anyone that has one but im sure they will see a vast improvement due to the cold air it will be sucking in.

It was my old one,I sold in back in june/july time. I didnt know about this forum at the time so i dont think it would have been anyone on here that bought it.

So you think a Viper is they way forward? May have to consider one when i get my car back, and get some money together. Im sure their around £200-£250, and at the mo i need all the money i can get!

I had mine RRd at autotechnics (not your favourite i hear) last year. they said it was 130 bhp atw (approx 155 at the fly) and that was with the cat and K&N on, guy said the K&N was taking away power as mentioned above. i put the standard airbox back on and now have a piper cross filter to go in it. will be getting it RRd in the new year. (granted with a year between it wont be much of a fair test).

Do a search for the viper on the williams think it was martin. who found a problem with a connection to the f7r, was partly blocked, needs a custom adapter if i remember correctly but i could be wrong.
