Theres no kerbing on them - but its coming through slightly on three two rims and quite a bit on one of them. I cant decide if its worth taking them back to the refurbisher or not.
Ill get some later in the week as my dad has the best digital camera and he takes it away to work with him. Its only really noticeable on the one wheel, but its not so much the cosmetics as the prospect of having to have them done again that worries me.
always comes back thru i do believe cos when i saw gti girls williams her rims had been done not so long ago and they were starting to corrode again on the diamond cut edge and the place where she had hers done said they couldnt guarantee them!
On mine the bit under the numbe plate is black, not sure about the wheels or towing eye. I would definatly say my wheels havent been refurbed, so Ill check mine tonight Northy.
I am going to get my alloys refurbed at Ace Alloys in Bury he quoted 40-45 per wheel depending on how much damage is on the wheel, he even know about the silver rim before I mentioned it so I think he might know what hes doing....well I hope
Strip under No. Plate is black, towing eye is black, and my wheels are the same as the pic above although more f**ked and the gold strip is not as obvious. Mine has silver rim, them if you look close you can see the gold running down to the tyre, hard to spot spot but it does have gold to the tyre from the rim.
