get that gear-lever base flocked, looks a let-down compared to the rest of the interior ;)

ZERO drifting will be done in the mx5.. Its gonna be low, slow and cool as fudge!

MY first mx5 only lasted 2 weeks on the road... Qucikest £4000 ive ever spent.

Big weekend this week. Brakes were.... gone. The inside pad has seized on on the rear passenger side... So i just got new discs and pads for the rear..

Doesnt take long to change oil filter, oil, and both sets of rear brakes when 2 lads from REME do it! <3 Big respect to REME! haha

Got home to find a few bits...

In with the new... Still have to do the inside of my lights and get a rear anthra diamond..

I take it you bought the discs with the bearings already pressed in? If so, couldn't put up a link.. need to replace the rear brake discs/pads, not sure where to get some decent discs!

Can't find the link i'm afraid.. I just got mine from Ebay... Think it was about £60? Can't remember.

Small updates, i fitted a sub purely cos my friend pretty much gave it to me and it was pretty light!

Also i got my wheel shroud back from a lad who does my flocking, and ive given him my gear surround for flocking too...

Looking good so far! Keep the wheels that are on it for now, they suit it pretty well.

I just got my dash back from flocking, i opted to have the vent surrounds flocked aswell (little speaker covers i sprayed matt black)

  Black 182
You only had the top half flocked?

Tbh i forgot all about the vents when i gave it to the 'flocker'. But i quite like that he took the vents out...

The worst bit is putting it all back in!

Discussions of a matte orange wrap... Quote has been received. And hopefully will be happening after christmas.

Please tell me this hasnt been done...?

  Black 182
So a few little things have changed, Ive got my gear surround back in after being flocked, and after receiving the vinyl sample... the wrap WONT happen but im still looking into different ideas.

And on Sunday my cylinder head thread rounded off, but its back up and running! No messing round!

Next purchase will be either a BMC induction or PiperX induction. If anyones selling one, let me know <3

Been ages since I've properly cleaned it, so heres a few pics..

Started with a double snow foam...

Then never realised how dirty the underneath of the bonnet was...

So afterwards..

And gave it all a wax...

Havent posted on here for a while... But this one is for all the wrong reasons...

Basically started by breaking down after being forced into too much water. Did our best to get the car recovered but 8pm breakdown soon turned into 10.30pm and no better off because RAC are pure s**t. (They could only move my car if i signed a disclaimer for them to break my bumper off?!, no thanks...)

So, all I could do is push it to a slightly safer place, lock it up and leave it. So left it at about 11pm, went to see the car at 5.30am and found this....Smashed into, and a £30 sub pinched. Pointless.

Luckily mum and dad have been unreal help, and got nearly everything sorted whilst ive been at work for a cheeky 16 hour shift. Cannot fault the police at all either, so helpful. Lift to and from work inbetween things..

But today Ive managed to get the car home, and a new rear window in already.

Seems people cant have anything anymore.

Gutted is an understatement. The moneys not really the point, its the fact its so close to my house/work and happened in such a short time for a £30 sub.

  Clio 197
Gutted. Nice 182 to have here , certainly looks like you enjoy cleaning it :)

Do you think it was because your sub was visible in the rear ?

  Black 182
Montana, obviously theyve nicked it cos they could see it... But its only worth about £60 brand new, i paid £30 second hand and itll be worth even less now. The glass theyve smashed was double that amount and more.

Alsoo its not fixed, because its only back to square 1. Fixing the initial breakdown problem.

Was gonna chuck a load of money at it once its sorted, but everytime i go look at it in the garage just feel like i dont want it anymore. Which is gutting because i was just really liking it! :(

Here my slightly positive picture.
