Ment to comment on this yesterday after I read it.

Shame about the rear window but aside from that the cars looking great, I'm sure you'll fall back in love with it soon.

Theres some low lifes in this world! On the plus side this is looking great! Super clean! But seen as you had a silver car do you fancy giving me some good brands of snow foam, polish, wax and sealants etc? if you could that would be great! I think it was gally had a thread with a list of good items but can i for the life find it!

I would, if it worked... still havent got round to even finding out whats happened... battery or water intake.



As for products.. i cant remember what snowfoam i have. i bought bulk (20L) because i use it so much. I don't often polish because it strips the wax layer off and doing both is too much effort over the short dark days. But I have Autoglym SRP, thats good enough! Wax, i ALWAYS choose Poorboys! Cannot fault it, lasts ages, easy to use, smells amazing and is only about £10-12? For my ZS is used the white nattys paste wax, for my 182 i use the red paste wax... Dont think theres any difference besides the smell?

And for wheels i use poorboys wheel sealant, if used properly it lasts aaaages.



Unfortunately i think im gonna fix and sell the clio... Doesnt feel the same for me.

Ditto on the Poorboy's stuff too. Have you used the SSR 1, 2 or 3 before?

I'm not sure which to kick off with. I've got the sonus sfx pad range which I plan to use it with.

Poorboy's SRP is absolutely awesome too, I've not tried the autoglym you mentioned. I like to use the same brand's range of products, as they're designed to work together. The red natty's and white are indeed the same, white just smells nicer!

Which snowfoam lance have you got? I bought the cleanyourcar one. Can't fault it!

Looks canny that mate, get those gangsta tints out and that cliosport sticker off and it will look sweet, the old one is improving day by day, just about to spunk £1500-2000 on a full on rebuild for it

Got rid of the fly eye stuff, taken wind deflectors off and got rid of some of the stickers... Starting to look a bit cleaner, but still a bit of work to be done...

If anyone wants 2 JBL subs or some standard 182 wheels theyre in the for sale section.

Part of the reason i have no love for this clio is that it doesnt feel like its been loved at all...

Example.

Easy fix, Few quid + 30 seconds = The look of being looked after

Also new wipers fitted, and new reg. plates.

This car is annoying me even more now.. my exhaust was blowing so i got a new clamp and fitted it... STILL BLOWING....

So got the car higher to have a proper look at it, just to find a hole near the cat. Easiest solution.... DE CAT!!

Car still for sale... Reduced to £2250 ONO. Wanting but not needing it gone so no stupid offers.

Not being driven anymore, Just been cleaned and headlights polished up. All levels checked. Just waiting for a new owner.

Been away a while... did some thinking... And stopped sucking pipe. Clio's staying.

Not standard...Going for the lightest Clio. Anyone have any idea of the lightest weighed?

And i know theres LOADS more to come out/off. The list is endless... ive purely done the bits that fall off so far. And yes im putting buckets in... just waiting for the basemounts then find some light subframes.

Remove the sound deadning from the floors
take bottom of dash out
polycarb windows
fibreglass doors
fibreglass bonnet/boot or carbon if you can hold of it
Lightweight wheels
Remove aircon
Single rear backbox exhaust

Theres plenty of things to do to make it lighter.

Filter of death was sold just last weekend! haha bad omen!

The list is endless, polycarb doorcars (or none), seatbelts, b pillars, door sill plastics, speakers, foglights, rear wiper, motor, screw tops haha. every little helps! Im going as hardcore as i can as long it passes the MOT im happy.

And took the dash out in the dark, was gonna leave it out but liked my old flocked one too much...

Think this is the smartest and most sucessful car day ive ever had.. Just me and help from my brother.

Also whilst doing this, took out LOADS more weight, both front seatbelts, all front carpets, plastics, airbag, passenger seat and other un-needed bits.

Will take out the sound deadening from behind the dash bars later when its light!

You'll grow up one day haha, pointless having something track prepped that never see's the track, it just becomes annoying, especially when it rains heavy and the noise coming through the roof.

RX8 is now sold, just didn't have time to use it. Clio will be getting done to a reasonable standard (i.e. 2 buckets, dash fitted, inside cleaned up and outside polished and waxed up), then will be up for sale.. Time for a different route.
