Would this fit a 1.6 ?

Now I can see that it says its for the 1.4, but seeing as their the same engine but the 1.6 has a longer stroke I can't see why it won't.

Most of the other i/k's you get are the same for the 1.4 and 1.6, my only doubt was that it might be a smaller diameter filter for the 1.4 ?

Yes it should do. Harry_manback has one on his 1.4. Certainly looks the part. He bought it off ebay.

Bump, anyone else know / have an opinion. I know it'll physically fit its just whether its big enough a filter for the 1.6, otherwise you'd think it would be listed for the 1.6 as well and the 1.4 on the simota site.

well if its the same box size as the bmc it should fit . ive been told up to a 1.6 bmc are the same , after a 1.6 they are bigger . but the bmc are unversal fittment . ive order myselg a k&n gen 2 . should be here this friday !!

i had one on mine was ok but the one they sell at k-tec is alot better costs more though but there is a realy big differance mate
