Hi all, this is on a 182, and both rear calipers brake fine off the footbrake, but the nearside one with the handbrake doesnt seem to be working much, at all.
Not delved into the brakes on a 182 as yet besides changing pads...
How do I go about sorting it? Cant be the piston or sliders as both...
My washers ran out of washing fluid a few days ago, previous to this worked fine. Ive filled up the bottle yesterday with the correct dilution, and now the squirt is sort of a very fast intermittent? Like not a strong jet like before but a feeble fast sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh and not much...
JCT 36 convoy car, I saw ya at the meet earlier this evening! haha. Also saw quite a few other Renault sports... didnt get close enough as they were leaving when we turned up. Saw Christine in the Megane too, that thing sounds sweet fp.
Basically i've been offered the opportunity to head out to Canada until November, and i'm a bit stuck on what to do with the car, a couple of options I have are;
-Insure the car for a year, let the mother drive it a couple of times a month to keep it ticking over (not keen)
-Store it indoors...

to cut a long story short, Ive got a Spax RSX kit currently on the car and an FK Konigsport kit just arrived today in the box.
I only intend on keeping one kit, and probably sell the other kit to a friend, so my question is this;
No one on here has given a bad review of either kit...
As per the title really, whats out there which hold their own on a track in 195-40/45 and 205/40/45 for a £300 budget?
I'll be doing the odd few trackdays this year, but not looking for a seriously soft compound as the car is a daily...
205 tyres would be my ideal choice, but in the low...

Off a Renault parts seller on ebay. Noticed yesterday one of them has shat the fluid all out. Is there some sort of unseen warranty with brand new parts or is it up to sellers discretion? As I doubt the new shocks have even covered 2000 miles.

Whats been done to the 172? Me and my brother were in the 16v white saxo, could hardly catch you and definatley couldn't pull away from you! the 182 sounded awesome too...Yozza'd?
See a lot of these on ebay, for £23-ish each? My standard rear shocks are leaking and in need of replacement, came across these and wondered has anyone had experience of them.
I know Trophy's are fitted with Sachs suspension, are these the same 'Sachs' breed as the Trophy use?

As above really, mint looking blue cup with personalised reg outside halfords in a retail park on the way into leamington spa. And as I was driving out pas the petrol station, had a black 172 follow me out? Also looked mint. I went for a nose round town after CSS haha

Used the search, and found out trophy offset is ET45, and cup offset Is ET 38.5. How do I decipher this on the actual alloys themselves though? Off to look at a set later on and could do with knowing what I'm looking forThanks

Do you guys leave out the rubber pads that come on the standard springs or fit them back in? In the middle of sticking a set of sportlines on my 182 and figured that if i leave the pads out i've get between 5-10mm lower on the rear.

Been looking at a 182 with 80k on the clock, got FSH and stamped in the book up to 50k at which point the car had a complete refurbed engine change by Renault (seen the receipt) via one of the previous owners.
But the car is now on 80k, and theres no service history up to this point? It clearly...
