LED Sidelights Fitted

The weekend I went about fitting my sidelights. Just a little bit fiddly but I managed it ok in the end

I went for Shiny Autos LED ultra white.

Excuse the poor images I cannot seem to see why the pics are so dark Must have messed with a setting The pics make the sides blue but to the eye they arnt

Also ordered some Phillips Silvervision bulbs to remove the fried egg look

Cheers buddy. You're right about the pics, the sidelights do look really blue, but then the xenons look quite yellow, and xenons are defo not yellow are they So must just be the camera setting. Looks really good though, bet they look great in the flesh. Led's aren't illegal if their white are they?!?

From what I have heard no they arn't illegal. People on here have had a pass with their MOT so I am guessing they are pretty legal. Yeah they do make the xenons look really yellow but they are a pretty darn good match in the flesh :approve:

they look great. i got some four l.e.d.s ones and they didnt fit in the sidelight hole do ures fit?

I think I have the Same LED's which I got through the Interior LED Group Buy and I love them, I think they match the Xenon's Pretty well in real life

Look rubbish IMO...best with no sidelights at all next to the xenons..

look great mate, alot better than OEM, had mine in bout 6 months with no issues, n no they dont melt

Depends on the size of your hands lol!

for the true xenon look tho, its free! just remove the sidelight bulbs!

Depends on the size of your hands lol!

i have big hands and i still find it easy, however i have had about 6 different bulbs in now. and i have to put some back in at mot and service time, so im used to it now, its a 2min job!

nah it wont, had mine leds n aftermarket hids in for ages, no issues

Old thread i no,but mine failed today because of these sidelights and i even told him i had the originals ones in the glove box but wsnt taking any of it,ffs

strange mine passed with LED sidelights, that was at a main renault dealer as well,:S

shouldnt fail i dont think..... alot of new cars are using l.e.ds in sidelights and other lights.... merc eclass for sidelights, audis and bms and lexus are using them for numberplate lights

what do you mean you 'dont think it should fail' doh i just told you they failed mine with them,lol

They wouldn't just let you swap them in? What an utter waste of everybodies time.
