Fuming!!!

My new Sony LCD TV (32D3000) was delivered today (ordered on the 13th). As I was dragging into my flat i noticed that they'd actually sent me an inferior model (32S3000).

Now I've got to wait 5 days for Dixons to send me some return slips, arrange a pickup time for DHL to collect, wait 3 days for it to be returned to the warehouse and then an extra 5 days for Dixons to send out the correct model!

All they would reimburse me was the original £3 delivery charge!

I'll give it a go mate. The joke is if I didn’t work from home then I'd have to take 3 days off work to get this sorted. I’d be sympathetic if it was a manufacturing falt but IMO to stick the wrong goods on a delivery pallet (even after scanning it in) is inexcusable.

Yer thats s**t service in fairness.. I wouldn't be happy at all. But as above write in a complain in a formal letter. my brother did this with sky and got a free Sky HD box.

doubt you will get anything from them im affraid, maybe a voucher if your lucky. DSG group wont give a monkeys. I should know i work for them.

O yer I work for them too... Lol, I'm a tech guy, and we dont give vouchers out easy.

I think the least they can do in all fairness is to arrange for the product to be collected.

I feel like they've passed ownership of the issue onto me. I may as well work for them lol.

It happens to the stores as well, a customers tv i ordered came in as the wrong model a few days ago. We all use the same stock centres, Currys, pc world, dixons, pixmania i believe all come from the same stock centre. As such this is just some guy in a warehouse getting it wrong. Dont let it reflect dixons too much. It could have happened in a pc world or currys store if you ordered.
