Aye, same with me and Blackburn! 10 minutes up the road and a few grand off my insurance...We live in or near Manchester, insurance companies hate us.If I lived a couple of miles over towards Warrington it would be half the price.
what the price? or "thats not bad"?
i have just had a quote of £112 a month by direct line for as soon as i earn my 1st NCB and i will be 21 years old..
my current monthly insurance payment is £250 a month..
has/did any1 have there insurance drop around 55% in this same situation!?
For a clio 172, it aint THAT bad, its my second car
Sorry, but in my world, paying over £2k to essentially not even insure your car if you have an accident is laughable.

like i said in your other thread mate try your hardest to save up and pay it all off in one go makes the year ahead so much easier thats what i done and went from paying £260 a month to 0 a month for insurance, yeah i was skint for 2 months to save it up but gave me much more money for the other 10! try admiral they are brilliant for young drivers in quick cars me and all my mates are with them including imports
Get a 0% interest credit card for 12 months (Tesco do one) and pay it off that way if you can't get the cash.
