The interior light buzzing is, i believe, the climate control temperature sensor fan running. Cant do much about it, iim afraid. After 18 months, I dont hear it anymore - I have WAY to many other rattles drowning it out!!!
On a similar note about trip computers, mine has now decided to reset...
I say go for the very cheapest tyres you can find and then count the savings you have made as you spin into a tree on the first wet corner you come to.
Not really, obviously, but when you consider that tyres are the only thing between you and the road, surely buying quality tyres must make...
Hi,
The front and rear wipers on my mk2 172 are crap. Even with a perfectly clean windscreen (tried proprietary glass cleaners, meths, alcohol) and clean blades, the wipers smear - its almost like theyre not removing all the water and leaving a very thin flim/smear of water behind.

In fact misting and buffing and carnauba wax is a good idea.
before you buy anything, check out...
Get a good polish, with as little petroleum distalates as possible. Are you working by hand or RO?
After youve polished, use a glaze like 3Ms Imperial hand glaze. Top off with a good quality pure wax (again, as little petroleum d as possible, avoid stuff like turtle wax, etc)...
