Recently i rebuilt & painted a set of Front calipers along with new sliders etc & after the longest brake bleed i have ever done,2L of fluid later & two blasts down the road to activate the ABS,all is good now.So while the clio was all jacked up and sunny i thought i would do a trail fit of the new alloys.

And Yes i know its flithy.

Will upgrade the pads soon to something with a bit more bite soon, prob just M1144 all round.Should be enough for road use along with the braided hoses i have fitted.

Looks great with these! Anyone know how much the 16" weigh as opposed to these 15"?

Tiny update,Gave the 182 a little engine service the other day.Oil,Oil Filter & Spark Plugs along with a bit of a clean/degrease under the engine ahead of its remap in a couple of weeks time.

Also its coming to the time to buy a set of tyres for the new wheels ready for spring.

Options so far..in 195/50/15

AD08RS
PS3's

Cant really think of any other tyres to go for apart from the Hardcore type of tyres like R888,AR1's etc.

I have still not made my mind up yet but saying all that,a bit of a Wild Card. The last couple of days ive been looking at the Yokohama A048 🤔

Of course one quick photo, sorry no action shots.

Just caught up with the project. Those wheels looks so nice. I'd like to join you guys one summer morning for a drive. Where do you go? Or just where ever?

Am I weird for really liking the look of the tyres as well?

What made you go for the Acceleras? Interesting to see what you think of them.

I couldnt make my mind up on tyres,as its a road car but wanted someone that has bit more for when we have dry roads. There wasnt to many options really unless i went for PS3 or AD08'S but with the new RS i wasnt to sure, then came across these tyres & read up on a lot of reviews & peoples views and thought sod it.Worst case i will just have to change tyres & good service from the supplier

I like it. Have you used PS3 previously?

I can't help but wonder if those tyre review statistics are a bit skewed by people comparing the ad08r to the ad08rs instead of actually rating the tyre itself but I've had neither and overall people don't seem to like the new version as much as the old.

Only used the PS3 on my turinis mate which as you know are 195/45/16 & these are 195/59/15.

They seem good so far in the road conditions we have at the mo & temps, they look good also feel nice.

Have to see once the summer comes with the warm roads. But so far so good @MLB

Today was Remap day!.

After a Sunday afternoon of giving it a good clean,i woke up to wet roads & a moody sky, great!.so much for weather apps.

So after a not so long drive to Engine Dynamics & half a mud splatted car & chat with Andy, the 182 went in for a Level 1 map.
I went for a remap as i was happy with the map Andy done on my 172 Cup,but that was done on the old actual rolling road set up.Now that set up has gone & ED now have a much safer Pro Hub system,no rolling road but the dyno bolts straight to the wheel hubs.

I didnt get a map done for power gains as its minimal with a pretty much stock n/a engine,i just wanted the engine set up to its max protential for the small mods i have.

Im pleased with the out come, drives so much nicer & revs freely.

Anyone who wants to know the power etc

BEFORE 176 Bhp

AFTER 185 Bhp/161.4 Torque

So 9 Bhp gain in all

Nice one mate. That's a proper bit of kit at AW. I've been thinking about getting in contact with them to treat mine to some love soon. I'd like to get the timing checked and a remap with a power run.
