2011 RS200 Gordini Cup EBC Yellowstuff brake pads?

  Clio RS200 Gordini
Hi all, new owner and first post, can’t see an EBC thread.

Recently purchased my first Clio, keen to upgrade the front pads. Road car with occasional Club level motorsport event.

Thinking EBC Yellowstuff, but keen to know:

- thoughts or experiences on these
- other Recommendations

Also without me lifting a wheel, can anyone provide the part number for RS200 Brembo brake pads?

Many thanks

As above, yellowstuff are terrible, avoid.

I use ferodo ds1.11. They work/bite better than oem from cold. Downside, is they are a race pad. So brake dust and noise are both high.

Ideally if doing a fair few road miles, best solution is to run stock pads for road use and fit the good pads for events.

Yellowstuff are dreadful.

Mintex 1155 would be my choice for how you plan to use the car.

Agree on the caliper pins. Mr pink pins is doing the ones with a clip which makes the whole pad changing experience much easier

Plus with the recommendations above.

For track use I have run rc8’s and pbs race on the rear.. not changed the rears in about 10 race weekends and loads of meets on them

Front wise I have found carbon Lorraine offer better brake feel and are instantly on it without any bedding in but cost a fair amount and do create brake dust.

PBS pads are much cheaper but I have found that they are decent but don’t last as long and the brake pedal feel isn’t as good

Overall would aim for mintex / ferodo/ pbs if using for track and road use. BTW I am just using standard brembo hc solid discs and they work more than fine rather than needing to go to drilled/grooved.

For info I did a one hour stint at Silverstone gp in my car and it didn’t miss a beat and brakes were good

Thanks

I am running Mintex M1144 on the fronts and MRM1801 on the rears on my 172. Mostly fast road setup, pretty happy with them. No squealing as well since I refurbed my calipers.
