I'd say a v6 was a sports car, even a mini exotic, cos its mid-engined and has no back seats
And a Cayenne is defo not a sports car! just a very capable truck
^^What I was gonna say. Almost always a two seater = sacrificing practicality for fun.
Interesting question though Meggerman. RS clios definately have a real sporting slant to them, but I think hot hatch describes them better than sports car as they maintain some practicality with the performance.
LOL so its not just me then?
Main things you wanna look for:
Exhaust - OE backbox rarely last past 40k (mine went on 36k). Listen for the a buzzy rattle at 4k rpm too - caused by loose heat shield or exhaust baffles going I think (had that before too!)
Engine mounts - prone to failure...
Love my cup. From what I've heard the 180 ain't as good as the spec suggests, defo not as fun to drive as any 172/182.
Get a Renault, join the club! :D
Yep. I've never locked the right wheel, only the left (always with just me in the car). Shows how finely balanced the car is I guess. I can also really feel the difference of a full tank too, particularly braking.
Don't think anyones saying that mate! LOL ;)
It does'nt mind a bit of stick once its warmed up, a mild thrashing even.
Good price nosluom I reckon.
My cup is my first car. Drove parents 1.6 Astra previously, so it was quite a step up for me! Borrowed the Astra recently and it felt...
Already had a look in the guide section; don't think there is one.
Thanks for your help anyway edde!:approve:
Think I'll get it sorted at a garage. I have zero tools and my drives so on the piss its dodgy jacking up the car. (That'll be my excuse anyway)
I was'nt planning to change the oil until the next service (last done on 33k, now on 37k, so thats another 8k away; right?) Is that too infrequent?
Trouble is I don't actually know how to change the oil :o
