Correct price for modified 172?

Unfortunately I will shortley be selling my 172 as I have moved to London which is not so car friendly.

I have been offered £6000 by a friend - for the purpose of a quick sale is this a fair price?

It is 02 plate, 40,000 miles, grey 182 wheels, group N Hillpower chip, k-tech sports cat, k tech full exhaust system with stealth exhaust, 11 months tax, 2 months MOT. It is in excellent unmarked condition.

I'm a bit out of touch with prices, does £6000 sound a fair price?

i'd say so, I sold my modified 172 (quick sale) with 40K for £6000 it was a '52' plate.

Sounds about right to me (and I was "in touch" not long ago when I bought my car in June)

id probly give you 6 for that aswell. might be worth a little more depending on the condition.
