Well today I had a play about, saw now issues. Filed rubber base down to a defined point so it sat properly in damper. Then went with a tape measure on to my other Clio and once I'd take in to account wheel sizes (black one is all 14s and green one is 14 on front and 15 on back) the ride height...
I'll get some pictures today, I checked up on Spring and damper part numbers, appeared to be correct for car. Fitted complete new top mount setup apart from the metal spacer that goes between top donut and the bearing
Front of my Clio sits excessively high. Presumably same reason as top mounts are sitting high. Can't understand why though, new springs, dampers, top mount bearing and rubber.
Intermittent fault with my Clio, light comes on when wheel is about 2 inch off centre to the right, only time it comes on then goes out again. It isn't under seat connectors as they have all been chopped and resistors soldered in. Replaced clockspring anyway as wiper switch was dodgy. No change...
Right, check tyre pressures the. check all ball joints for playing general suspension condition , tyres for wear patterns, get tracking checked if not it'll be the driveshaft most likely. (Mine does it)
Sounds like either one of the brakes is sticking, check both sliders for movement and grease them heavily, pop the cap off the reservoir and push both Pistons back in to check for them being free, look at the wear of pads and disks and check they're all even and within spec. Also check pads are...
The resistor will work, done it on mine due to internal connection on pretensioner unit breaking up, if you're a paid member on here just look in guides :)
Mine does that occasionally, immob cuts out on NBV, jump it with Jag and it's fine. Batteries and connections are very sensitive as you've said and even a minimal LBV occurrence can throw them miles out
