Personally, I find the Bimarcos very comfortable, I am quite tall and on the slim to average side.
they offer me great support where I need it, but every person will be different so you really need to try a few to make an educated decision.
you will need subframes, side mounts and runners for...
Both? But you've quoted three!? ;) :rasp:
had a quote for the Trophy, fully comp, everything declared (inc. cage, AST's, brakes, buckets etc etc)
and that was just shy of £250 :)
Do not set coilovers up based upon how many threads you have wound it up, that is not the way to level a car or set its heights.
if you really want the car level, you need to measure it to and from a fixed point that doesn't move.
just having them at the same threaded height on the body of the...
I was looking at them, a 4x4 that's not to big for Kim, that I could use as a fall back tow vehicle if need be.
my worry is how close to its ability levels I'd be getting with the trailer when fully loaded.
the trailer is currently over at a friends having a rack fabricated for an extra 4...
Its got to be better than my 4.7 V8 Jeep at the moment tho Chip.
im a bit reluctant to spend a fortune as its literally only going to be a tow car, and occasionally taking the dogs out during winter.
the rest of the time it will probably sit there with the trailer.
I've never heard of South East Customs and I've lived in/around the Crawley are for many many years now.
with the sellers name wing Steve Kemp, and the member on the forum selling bits in the for sale section under the username of walk3r0 being Jack Kemp, I'd assume they are related somehow...
Where are you going with it Saturday?
keep me posted as to what you may get from a full tank please, there is a decent two tone red and grey one near me at a nice price I spotted today, 3.0 V6.
if the realistic fuel return with car/trailer isn't so bad I may just go and snap it up :)
Remove all of the sound deadening.
cut off all of the rear seat fixing points.
remove the front seat rails and weld in proper spec seat rails that allow you to sit lower.
remove the passenger side airbag.
remove all glass and replace with Perspex.
Replace panels with fibreglass alternatives...
I do like these, I keep looking at the 2.5TD, but doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in the book claimed MPG between either, or certainly not enough for it to make a huge difference in choice.
looks good Morgan :)
I remember just after I bought the mountune roller barrels for the Escort, I had a chat with him one night in the fairmile pub and he went in depth about having the MIS inlets remade aswell, and tried talking me in to selling the mountune setup in favour of the MIS.
it was about then I started...
Ah jolly good.
i do like Will, he always gives me a cuddle when he see's me and our conversations normally consist of food and 2 for 1 meal deals we used to share when I was working in Cheshire, I think he was still at MSD back then.
hes a good egg and very knowldegable, hes helped out a lot...
I didn't realise Steve could source parts like that aswell, but thinking logically I'd imagine he has contacts in every angle of motorsport and car tuning.
havent seen him for ages actually, last time was at Silverstone last year as we sat back munching ice ccram in the sun as Jacko tried to get...
