Ah Ah right sorry. Yeah the filter sits right behind the headlight so its just a straight route. However it was a lot easier for me with the headlight blanks. Might be more tricky with proper headlights.

Yeah I agree. Id imagine the engine was designed to run a certain temp as well so making it run cooler doesnt seem like the best idea. Ive ordered an OE thermostat, coolant temp sensor and some type D coolant.

As in the level? Yeah looks ok I need to start the car up again and see if its actually overheating, or if it just THINKS it is :smirk: Which would you advise changing first? Or is it worth doing both? Also, if Im changing the thermostat, are these worth buying? Seems a similar price to OEM...

Ive got an impact gun. However that wont help as all it would do is spin the shaft really fast. You need the allen key to hold it. No, but I need to split the top mounts and coilover to fit them

Where you buying the slicks from out of interest? I saw these RS1s in demon tweeks a while back and was thinking about giving them a try in the future. From memory they were cheaper than A048s! Couldn't find much info on the net about them though.

As Ive heard the rear brakes dont do much, am I best off going with standard pads to keep the heat in them, or is it with paying the extra for the DS2500s. Not too bothered about cost, just want the best performance. Track only car, sticky tyres. Running DS1.11 fronts

Mine doesn't make any noise. Not as much airflow as I had hoped, but definitely good enough. Especially with an open faced helmet and one of the vents shut. Will see how I get on in summer. Normally have the windows down a few inches but the wind noise is ridiculous - hence the wind deflectors.
