Can you drill through from the front of the reflector? If so id just put some cellotape down first, front and back, should allow you to drill a clean hole. Let me know how the resistor thing goes if the relay is a no go as ill be doing the same in a month or so.

but arent the calipers iron? As in pourous? The first coat actually sank in, I used hammerite spray to do mine, real easy, 3 coats should do it. Just wire brush the calipers, clean off with brake cleaner, mask brake lines/discs etc. then paint.
Flush fit - the only way to go, tidies the wheel up and after switching to flush fit, havent had a single cap nicked.
Or with the anti theft ones, tighten em up, remove grub screw, drill a hole through cap and into side of valve. That way the grub screw actually goes into the valve rather than...
