get a second key sorted even if thats not the issue otherwsie loose your key and your in for a big bill.

if the imobilier light is on then thats the issue. have you got a second key if so try that. if neither key works then get a new decoder ring they can be problems

Its a common issue with the 1.2 16v engine its been discussed load on here. Its just need a good run to get rid of it.
