B16 is the 1.6 twin cam VTEC (older CTR is B16a and the engine codes vary like renault), F20C is the S2000, CTR is the K90.
To make a 300bhp F4R would take me ages to type the spec. But it goes along the lines of more RPM for more power. SO that means a different and very long duration high...
THe 172 engine isnt hard to tune, nor is it in ahigh state of tune already.
What makes it hard to tune is the cost of uprating certain parts that are needed to take it to the next step. Unlike honda with their 120bhp/ltr engines renault didnt invest the same sort of time or money into...
You might not like them, but they do stock a sh*t load of stuff that others dont.
But if your buying parts from them, you really shouldnt be asking them for advice.
My filter never rubber or anything. Used the std link/elbow pipe.
you can get longer ducting from most any motorsport factors. But the best is the wire supported 100mm brake ducting. Try DT as itll be easiest for you i would think.
As for the bracket, i never used one.
A 2 pack paint base will stay on longer and be more durable than powder coating. MOdern paint technology has moved in way beyond what poweder coating is capable of. One chip in a powder coated wheel will grow as it lifts and chips off.
Complete kit for bodies, sensors, ECU, loom, fitting and mapping will set you back well into the 3 grand and above.
You dont have to wait for headwork or cams and can be used on a std engine, but of course the mods will give proportinally higher gains. On a std engine, look for about...
depends where its leaking from.
There should be obvious signs of leakage.
I would fix it, easpecially if it was camseals as this is a quick and easy fix.
The SMT6 is a piggy back ECU. Basically you wire it into the the existing loom and it alters the signal from sensors to the ECU. The CU takes this data as it normally would and makes ignition/fueling changes as per normal. The difference is that you are giving t different signals than are...
I can safely say Colin isnt going for the webcon option.
THe bodies and hardware are pretty good, but the software isnt something i would or could use as you need to be an authorised and approved dealer.
There are far better bodies out there though.
A 16V/willy bolt on kit is something...
The cam pulley bolt was loose!!!!
There is a locating dowel on the cam which means that the pulley would have to of been sitting 5-7mm off its face for it not to spin!
Fuel system cleaners wont work as they are reduced to burnt waste and carbon as they pass through. Effectively the detergents they contain are worth nothing.
Its simply and injection fauly probably down to something like your coolant temp sensor, map or potentiometer coupled with your lambda...
I have my fan which squeels when alt current drops too low, like 1100 RPM.
Its TRES annoying!
DAMN THIS SPAM THING.......its the 9th time ive written this useless reply!
