The phenonmenon reffered to as comming on cam refers to the rpm level where inlet charge speeds are high enough to significantly increase the level of VE. So sorry to some, the F4R 7XX series comes on cam at about 4500rpm. its VVT mechanism however advances the cam anywhere above 1500rpm when at...
JESUS HIPPY!!!
if only i knew it looked like this, pisstaking at swindon would of been harsher.....hehehe, no, just kidding. That is BURNT!
Is that a happy mean in the back?
This is after a cam change, but i guess itll suffice.
Youll need to take the cam carriers off, but to do that you need to jack up the OS engie mount, take the mount carrier top bolt off as it covers the final cam carrier bolt. Take the belt off first though.
Under each cam lobe you can see...
LOL!!!!
that is a reall old skool classics trick where you want a stiffer bush, but either not as stiff as a poly one, or your too cheap.
Very good, carry on......lol
might be a simple mount, exhaust heat sheild rubbing etc.
The engine moves when you come off the throttle, i would think its probably 2 peices rubbing.
should be 10 ohms +/- 5 ohms.
Its not too hard to get off, its an awkward place, but just take the connection off and measure across the pins.
They rarely fail though, being a simple on/off spooge fuel type injector.
WHy should he not tell you the cam profile you would be paying to put into your car?
I dont know why nobody gives out cam profiles, most of them use off the shelf cams anyway. And even if its a specific grind, you being the customer are buying a product you deserve to know its full specs.
I...
Check if its the clutch or linkage.
If its not hard to get it in gear at a stand still try this.
Accelerate up through first gear, just as you let off to change gear, ignore the clutch totally, pull into second gear and hold pressure on the stick. Itll pop in very easily and smoothly. If...
EArly 16Vs had the ally sump.
And there are a few diffs, but all have the cold start injector.
Main difference is in the head casting (of which wouldnt most of you love to know the flow differences lol) and placement of the coolant temp sensor.
Early heads have it tapped direct into the...
The easiest solution would be a roots type blower as you incorporate it into an inlet manifold, meaning you dont have to find extra space for plumbing and a compressor style blower. You junk the inlet manifold and have more space.
I remember seeing one, but nothing else soz.
ever heard of...
The cam timing isnt that lump, but the profile is highly agressive, they can afford to run it like that with the finger follower bearing design.
The emission compliance and general state of the engine means itll always run lumpier than an lexus, but personally i dont think it runs lumpy at...
