Now besides the 2lt producing more torque, why is it that the 1800 said to put out the same BHP as the 2lt once the following engine mods have been carried out:
Gas flowed head & manifolds to match, fast road cams, vernier pullies, superchip, IK, Xorst & de-cat?
Now this work puts out over...
Just 1 question; why doesnt every1 slate u every time u bang on about ur Saxo?;)
Us 16v owners dont want ur sort!:@
Only kiddin, but personally i must admit i wish they didnt exist.
Huuu?
Anyway attempted to change the bulbs on the display today; still doesnt light up! :@
The temp is displayed but without any lighting so u can only see it very faintly with sun shinning on it! Can this be a fault with the electric board for the bulbs or what? Any fix? Thanx
Standard Reno immobiliser? If so Bob_RTE can probably help u. ;)
Try ringing ur local Reno garage and explaining the problem to the service receptionist over the phone. That may help you.
Lets be fair; they are better built than any Peugeot by a mile! They need a few things now and again to keep it A1 but the Valver aint that bad!
Especially compared to cars of its era & performance such as the Fiesta RS Turbo, R5 GTT and any quick Peugeot at all!
Just add a few hundred quid on top of ur yearly running costs of any performance Honda or VW. Things do go wrong as they r a Reno but check if it has had a cam belt change; if not it is an engine out job at 70k! Clutch is similar & both will cost over 400 i think.

NEVER seen 1 other phase 2 pearlescent black other than clean16vs!
Ive only ever seen 1 Xerus grey Valver too. Never seen a green 1 & to be honest i think there is a reason for them being very rare!
Bracket behind heat shield may be catching on cable as my accelarator cable did. Check the root of the cable and that there is no foriegn objects under the airbox (where the cable attatches to clutch).
The tungy grey Valvers look good with the original phase 2 alloys on IMO cause they are an identical colour to the car.
Any 1 hear with the grey 16v who i raced in Stockport multi-story?
OK; taken on some advice and im gonna try and clean the inner beed seal myself with a wire brush however on my last Clio with steel rims i think the beed line had corroded hence being unable to repair, although all my 16v original alloys have this problem so i doubt that this has happened to all...
Ive seen a Civic VTi in action (never raced one) & it was amazing, must have had NOS or something but it seemed to go for a LONG time in 1st and with real power. BTW I have seen a Spoon engined 1 at a track day at Oulton Park actually. I think i might get a V-TEC Honda 1 day; Jeremy Clackson...
Ive noticed that there has been i mis-understanding in this post.
Anders is explaining how to take the OUTER gattors off not the INNERS i think (only scim reading)!
21/2 hour job for a mechanic to keep something compressed, blarr blarr blarr, need to take entire driveshaft off & Reno wanted...
