What else goes on them Weber throttle bodies, isn't there like some plastic trumpet to sort the air flow?
If you thought that was heavy we just made a 12mm sump guard:S
Anyway its all going on tomorrow and I'll take some pics of that and my new rear axle that we have beefed up, shot blased and then black powder coated. hopefully this one will stand forrest stages better:approve:

Only had a ride up the moor road but good god does it pull.
Thought this week I would put the car together enough to give it a run with the new throttle bodies on and the 197 injectors and before we have tryed to tune her yet, a run up onto the moor has proved that the pull...

The nice thing is that it is all galve but they are really made out of paper thin steel. but it will be very strong by tomorrow afternoon.
I've also done the rear axle as well, but its away geting powder coated.
Yesterday and today I'm making our subframe strong enough to take the beating that stage rallying gives.
The first time I realised that I needed to do this was 4 yrs ago when rallying at Weeton camp near Blackpool, we hit a curb lightly and straight away we kinked the front subframe easy this...
Wow that sounds good to me, it'll be a couple of weeks before I get on the rollers, but If they get them results with that setup then hopfully 240 bhp with what we have maybe possible fingers crossed:)
Hi You may find that it only needs taken off and cleaning. It may look clean but it only needs a small amount of dirt to make them not tick over properly
I think basically the iron filings blocked an oil way that we could not kleen just bad luck really all it did was restrict the oil to 1 of the main bearings
Next year new rules. Cars have to be based on the IRC s2000 cars which are 2.oltr NA (non turbo). There are about 7 manufactureers with cars eligible for these rules built now inc opal, proton, fiat, pug, skoda, mg, vw, and one two others and subaru and mitz can jion in with there grpn cars.
