Never new until last week there was 2 different types of ''double'' cat, meaning 3 different ones on the ph1 in total.
Are both companys using the same Rotex Supercharger?
Also how do you r****d it back to 250 / 260 bhp? - Not familier with chargers. Guessing like a turbo you can reduce the boost? :o
Yeah read this too but mine have been ok. No tapping or owt. Must have changed the design a bit?
You wont get many who rate these cams but in terms of power theyve been very very good for me.
Got mine direct from Piper for roughly the same price roughly 4 years back.
In combination with other mods, final figure was 186bhp and 175 lb/ft on RS Tunings RR'd - The torque levels just about lower full ITB territory!
The bad side see my dephaser topic lol

Looking into a cam change myself.
Problem iv got is cars running 172lbs/ft dyno'd on RS Tunings RR but looking at other folks torque figures using different cams, most folk get well under this figure so dont want to install something thats going to loose me power. At a loss of what to get...
Nah never did the solenoid test as where 99% sure its head wear as the noise comes directly from the top of the rocker cover. Someone suggested the journals in the head could be worn but went to a specialist engineer and he reckons thats very doubtful, its more likely to be worn tappets or the...
There was one in my local scrappy a couple of years back. Was about the first to take parts off it all bit only a couple of interior trims then before i had the chance to go back and raid it kids torched a car which took half the yard including the 172  - had a unused OZ F1 in the boot too...
Only way il find out i think is by getting the head open to see whats going on.
Had a worrying suggestion of could be worn cam jounals also:cry:
