    All the batteries iv seen from Halfords in the past come with the removable side rail things on. Im running a Halfords battery on the 172 at the mo and that had them on! Dont see how yours would be any different if its the correct battery :S

    They have skinny spokes because their light - Cant have it both ways. TBH, Turini's, Superleggera's, UltraLeggera's and now 2118's are all folk seem to go for. There has to be other choices...

    Just down to the wilder than standard cam profile making it lumpy. Moddings a compromise at the end of the day. No pain no gain :)

    Cams is where the power is on a N/A set up. Massive difference to performance (obviously) Down side, not nice to drive slow,in traffic or when cold.

    Take it you dont know the going rate for cats from breaker then ? :eek: Will be cheaper to buy a decat at £100+ and then some! 172 cats arnt just a link pipe like a 182's cat. Their shaped up under the bulk to fit the short manifold of the 172.

    Decat has to be one of the best value performance mods on a 172. Fitting a IK then a zorst was ok but the decat really made a difference and for a fraction of the cost

    ROFL :o Knocking is probably the bolt on the clamp where back box joins centre section. Probably hitting off the rear beam. Will just need the clamp turning round

    Yes but its not a case of forcing the air in, its about getting the air directed exactly where it it needs to be plus surplus air gets into the engine bay to help temps. The bigger the CAF and the more free flowing it is, tempretures will also be lower due to air being circulated. Hiding the CAF...

    Because if something goes wrong with this kit your right royaly screwed as help is in another country plus its a generic map. Certainly dont have money to throw away but mapping is a seriously important key in engine tuning not to be done on the cheap (imo)

    Complete rubbish. Stick your head out the car window at 60 mph and open your mouth wide facing the flow of air. then try it with your mouth facing downwards. Come back and tell us what got more air in your mouth lol Its pretty obvious your going to get more air pointing something directly...

    Time youve wrote this you could have gathered all your documents and had them made up! Doubt you'll get this done on the sly. There clamping down very heavy on reg plate laws now. A new one coming soon is you will have to get the place who made your plates up address at the bottom of the plate...
