You need ITB's to run right if you have wild cams? Thats a new one... :S :quiet:
172's respond ok to mods, its just that you have to pay in the neck for silly small gains
Im just pointing out that one of the main reasons why the Viper gets slagged is because half dont set it up right!
End of the day the top fastest proven 172 / 182 boys aint running panel filters so draw your own conclusions........ ;)
Might be a thread about a Viper on its own but then you wouldnt talk about how good cams are without a remap would you!
If folk actually bothered fitting and setting up Vipers propely then they might not get as many boo boys!
Yeah its the only one holding the actual seat but to get to it you obviously have to get the bar out :)
Middle torx can be a right **** to get slack. They rust up.
Aye back seats are pretty light, its the 30kg+ each front seats that are the heavy bits
Aye because the price of fuel has gone up! Its gonna cost you more lol
As for lower mpg, cold weather certainly dosent help plus check your tyre pressures
Both of which never seem to have any good write ups (on any make of car) from what iv read over the years...
Thought foam is meant to be the best flow anyway as of why ITG are regarded as one of the market leaders ?
Sure trading standards would be on the case to Shell if it was all a big con and there as no difference (terms of component make up) between 95 and 98 ron grade fuels
Can you answer then why Renault specify on the fuel cap to use 98 ron??
When they do fault finding basically they give a the car to a mechanic to use at his leasure out of hours and during hence why you have 200 miles on it.
They probably took the kids to school and went shopping in it
I wouldnt bother buying it
Most folk on here will tell you you'll lose power with a open IK plus most folk seem to favour a ITG filter with the standard air box
Lad put a topic up a while back with pictures how he converted a twin to single.
I wouldnt get drawn in to this ram debate. Cold air feed sticking at the front of the car will suck in more air than having it hidden
Has anyone fitted this kit to a Clio 172 / 182 ??
Any advice on wiring it up?, where to plumb it in etc etc :)
Few questions on the subject of fitting:
Do the Clio Sports use sequential injection?
Are they coil per plug?
Is the tacho output the same as or greater than 0-9v...
Waist of time 'tuning' a 1.2 but if he really cant get this idea out of his head tell him to make it lighter by stripping bits out like the spare wheel etc
Well he lives in Leicestershire not Iraq
As long as the filter isnt damaged it'll be fine.
Years back a AA man told me chipping a car damages it because it creates heat. He then nearly blew my ecu up with his fantastic knowledge by by-passing something in the engine according to the Ford...
I'd get someone who knows what their doing to plumb it in as you need balls of steel to start hacking ecu wires. I only know GDi who can set these things up but depending on your location find out your nearest dealer from the PP website
