We stayed in a little place called Grasmarks around 45mins north of Karlstad. Spent most of the event in and around the town of Hagfors (pronounced Hogfosh apparently); then on the last day we were just over the border in Norway.
About a week before the event there was hardly any snow around...
My latest Rallying adventure took me over to Karlstad in Sweden for Round 2 of the WRC 2013. This was by a LONG way the best event I've ever done, if any of you have a chance to do it in future, sell a kidney or something if you have to, its incredible.
Coldest temperature we saw was -16, so it...
Got up at stupid o'clock three days in a row, walked miles until my legs nearly fell off, got blown over by 50mph gusts on Myherin (those wind farms are there for a reason!), got stuck in massive traffic jams...but I'd do it all again tomorrow!
Although there were only 30 cars entered and a...
Rather than start three separate threads I thought I'd lump them all in one thread. First up are a few from the AWDC 4x4 event at Brynfynnon:

Cheers, thats the feel I was looking for so glad to hear it's worked to some extent.
Cheers for the feedback Dan, will keep that in mind for future. I have to say though that looking at the original on my laptop, it doesn't look anywhere near as bad.
Cheers! The main concern when shooting at...
Rather than spam up the boards I thought I'd post a few shots from my last two events in one thread. Although they were only a week apart the difference in the weather was ridiculous. For the Mid Wales Stages it was like being in the Arctic with snow and hail showers, and then it was like the...
Pretty good theme for a Rally photographer
I'll go with this one as my entry:
Taken at Sweet Lamb last weekend on the Mid Wales Stages, that snow shower you can see in the background hit a few minutes later which was a bit unpleasant!
I may have stripped the EXIF when saving for web...
Thanks for all the comments. Really pleased with how the slow pans came out, first time I've ever tried something like that (panning through trees/foliage).
Cheers,
Rhod
Drew really is a fantastic landscape and wildlife tog, often have a nose around his site to get me off my arse and do some landscape stuff.
Drew is male btw Scott!
Seeing as your from Carmarthenshire, I'm sure with a bit of research and exploration you can find some disused farms and outbuildings etc? Probably a good place to start...
Took a road trip to Belgium last weekend for the Rally Legends Boucles de Spa, if you ever have a chance to go then do it! It's probably the closest thing you can get to recreating the legendary Group B days with f**king thousands of mad spectators from all over the place lining the stages. The...
I remember the same thread not too long ago, but can't beat some Flickr willy-waving.

Thanks for all the comments. Gary I don't envy you sleeping out in the Forest overnight!

Spent an incredibly cold day in the Forest of Dean on Saturday, temperatures were down to -8 at one stage which made pressing the shutter button a challenge in itself. It was quite surreal driving into the Forest from Monmouth - no snow all the way from Neath and then suddenly - it was like I'd...
'Route 8' (according to Google) between Machynlleth and Staylittle. Drove down this road during Rally GB, unfortunately just as it was getting dark.

Relatively short, but absolutely epic on a bright clear day.
