Oh mines a mk1 ph1. Apparantly they are really bad, when they go they go apparantly. But also phase 2 and then again with 3 they are supposed to be a lot better.

It should have been changed recently, if it hasnt defo get it done. Probably best to do it anyway, its only a small engine so its easier to change than the williams or valver.

Well I have a mk1, been perfect until halfway through last year, its been going wrong ever since, getting rid next year as its begining to cost more than its worth, well I say getting rid. What I actually mean is keeping it as a toy car and making it into a r5 turbo powered shell.

When I jack my car up (ie with a proper car jack and not road side) I use a proper lifting jack with a flat head and a pump handle (cant remember the proper name for them) But when I jack my car up I always put the jack under the jack point and then place a sheet of thick wood ontop of the jack...
What road surfaces does it do it on? Does it do it during straight line braking or when cornering, or both? Does it make a difference with your speed? When was the last time you had the cars brakes checked over/changed (pads, discs etc) can you feel the ABS kicking in? What condition is the car...
I get a funny smell when I get back from driving, its when-ever I have been up to speed, not nesecerally ragging it. I couldnt find what it was, its just around the engine bay area. It could be the brakes or just the fact my engine is old and there will be all sorts of crap around the engine bay...
I would check your electrical system aswell, HT leads and spark plugs. To get to the filter you will need to take the rear seats out, or lift them up, if i am thinking of the right thing. If I am its covered with a ruber seel. If I was use you I would clamp the pipes near where they join upto...
Get a haynes manual and take a look. If it ever says "simply" or "just remove" then get a pro to do it because they usually never tell you how you "simply" do anything. Took me 40 mins trying to get my rear seats out following there "simply remove the rear seats" guidance. True it took my bro 30...
Ya bugger, I am 22 and still in my RT. Bloody uni is crap, never any money (or at least not enough for a new car, and if it was a valver the repair bills) and its not really getting me anywhere.

Hello,
I just got two new vibe subs but they need 1.25cf boxes to work properly. Was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get two relativly cheap? I would prefer non carpeted so I could carpet in the same colour carpet as I have put in my boot.
Everywhere I have seen so far want to...
Oh and jammers, you can get them, they are about the size of a cigrete packet and are illegal (last time i checked) they basically work by disapating the guns transmissions aimed at you.

I would be interested to see how a police detecting device would work. I cant quite work out how one might, not saying there arent any, but I think its a long shot.

Like its been said before dont go much lower than 35mm. Thats not a recomendation from but hillpower. The nose should also be lower to keep the traction and balance of the car. My advice is to save up and get coil overs.

Well he fixed the valve and replaced the head gasket and the car started running properly. Then I asked him to take a look at the heater. He said the problem I had had with mine might have had something to do with the heater but he would have a look. It didnt work so he changed the thermostat...
I have posted this twice, once in the exterior, performance... section but felt it migth be better in here. Sorry for that admin.

Hi
I have just my car repaired as there was a problem with valve four and the heater.
Anyway, before it was fixed the engine temp at normal driving sat just under the first major bar about halfway up the gauge. You know you have that blank bit at the start then the little lines start then...
