Elephant, Was 18yrs, 1yrNCB, £1400TPFP! :D
But call them instead of doing it on the net! My quote was £400 cheaper when i called them, however i did complain that their site was crap!
LoL, didnt think it was that good either. Ahhh... ill ave to make another with someone outside. Doesnt help that i need a new exhaust gasget. Its getting one Monday so ill do it again then. Blowings getting worse....
BTW its only the KTec exhaust, totally standard otherwise. So its not...
Ive just done some small vids, low quality but you hear the zorst anyway. Files are between 68-75k. Where can i host em so you lot can ave a listen?
Its the new KTec system with removable bafflers, done a video with and without the bafflers so u can hear the difference. I will go out in an...
I got quoted around £400 parts to stop the leak, but think it was the whole sunroof frame, fitting probably around £150 so expensive job. Get yourself some grease and slap a load on, seal it up and save some pennies!
Mines been on the road for 3 months outta 6. And i know just how you feel, i must have spent over 2k on her. New gearbox, alternator, clutch and cable, Power steering hose, steering rack, new exhaust, 2 wheels bearings, battery, cam belt, Fan belt and a partridge in a pear tree. And then i...
i dont think its the engine mount, i think its the gearbox linkage. When this gets worn or loose the gearstick rocks back and forth when putting on and lettin off the throttle, and ive heard its easy to replace! But i might me wrong.
I have the KTR with removeable bafflers, not sure if its titanium thou, paid 260 for it? And yeh its a really nice quiet sound with the bafflers in, but with them out its monsterous!
LOL.
Surely if they have to put those big yellow stickers on speed cameras to distinguish them more, then they should have to put somthing on the undercover cars to help us out!? Or at least give us a chance!
Was driving through Slough yesterday when i came to some lights. infront of me was a Red CTR, who was on the line next to an old XR2. They kept glancing over at each other, tryin to catch each others attention, then the lights went amber. The XR" instantly sprung into action...
Sounds like the road camber to me.....
Best way to find out is do a tonne down a flat bit of road(motorway) and let go of the steering wheel. Then you will know if the tracking is out!
Or you could taking it to racing green. They set up handling for TVRs and have 1 in 3 of the only...
I thought it was the linkage that needs changing to stop this movement, but nothing worth worring about! Mine also does it, and i have all new mounts and gearbox!
sh*te one! Thought that might have been the case! Lame enit! But better than £800 for new box from renault! And im well pleased with my re-con, just like new! BTW see if you can get the linkage sorted aswell, this stops all the movement in the gearstick, worth doing at the time. I found out the...
Or you can just get the Red Stuff brake pads, for competition use only, appartently real good for track use as they dont heat up much and dont fade much. ;)
Thats what was happening to me!! Started by a little bang when cruisin in 5th and would pop outta gear, then started doing it within every 4-5 seconds in 5th gear, so i had only 1-4. Then it started happening in 4th, then 3rd, then cruncing noises started when engaged and moving.
I got the...
Savage mate! Absolutely brillient! hehe. Some real sweet treacle you got there!, but whos the nutter sayin;
Nutter: "Follow them"
Camera Man: "I can zoom in mate!"
Nutter: "Nahh, you need to get a good underneath angle going"
Well Said!!
Mine does this too. When cold and damp in the morning or when its been raining or someink. Ive had the cambelt changed the in last 6k and the Aux in the last 2k. And ive been told the tensioners for the Aux belt need changing. If you spray WD40 all in the Aux belt area it goes away ;). But its...
