That doesnt make sense fred..mine is lowered only 80mm and im 8cm off the ground. And that was with a shatter resistant ruler so clearly accurate ;) Standard is 16cm!

Yeah Andy Bassett did it (1.216v)...doesnt come on anymore though..He did have probs though, rubbing on the fuel tank or something.

I liked the idea of the Magnex twin but i think the subtler k-tec twin looks better on the non sport models. However the K-tec/Tiger exhausts quality is dubious IMO.

Theyll fit..but only 18s will make your Clio look like a rollerskate so id cut the arches up and make sure its lowered a lot. Youd have to go with the FKs i think, with adjustable damping. You certainly couldnt get away with just springs..whoever the next lame ass is who says you can just use...
lol. the ease of tuneability is appealing but it still will sound like a bag of nails, so ill stick with the 75bhp..though i am impressed dont worry :D
That sort of mileage could easily mean the pads are shot..you should be checking them out..is the braking worse? In the wet youll get more more noises but i doubt youd tell without the window down.

Nah..upsets the car even though really 205s are hardly wide. Had 185s on my car originally, could go a lot slower yet have a bit of fun. Obviously there is more grip but thats not to be misinterpreted as better handling.

K-tecs arent the be all and end all. Mine is covered in some sort of rust, its also boomy so IMO quality is hovering around average at best. The sound is nice for a simple 1.2 16v though. Look around..theres millions of exhaust manufacturers.

I can get the conversion done for free, and i have found a cheap engine (45k), box incl. ecu. from a mk1 172. I know brakes are important but im not looking for a carbon copy of a 172, i can cross those hurdles when i get to them. The advantage of buying a 172 engine seperately is i can modify...
