tbh i built a media center pc but don't use it but i've just bought a network media player which does exactly what i need it to.

yeah 2.5" is laptop size if it's all on a network hard drive i'd get a ssd drive (if budget allows)

don't think the hd will fit in that case.

i'd say they are as white as you can get from a tungsten filament halogen lamp

+1 i've got the plain nightbreakers and they are very good. but the philips ones are supposed to be very good aswell

have you got the old grey modem? as when i had one of them on 20Mb i couldn't get above 13Mb and it was all over the shop since they sent out a new black modem it's rock solid and never below 19Mb until they throttle me down to bang on 5Mb

100w lamps will pull nearly twice the current so you could start melting wiring not worth the hassle imho

the only noisey part of the original xbox was the dvd drive imho but i still went from a super elite to the new one but i'm not convinced it's any good as i was playing fallout 3 the other day and i was just walking along and it was jumpy and i'm sure it wasn't like that before:S

if you get noise you have a bad earth 99.9% of the time surely you should run the power and remote down one side and the rca's down the other?

yeah they should fit fine down the passenger side. noise isn't a problem cause by wires running close to each other

8 awg (10mm2) is rated for about 40A so thats what size fuses you should get for the distribution block

i wouldn't bother putting them down either side of the car i've only ever put them down the same side of the car and never had a problem ever

there should be two metal pins left in the iso block where the two cables have come out

alpine unit and a ktp-445 is what i'm going to do in my car sod the display it's b****cks anyway. the dash is really easy to get off if you take your time

isn't there a bar under the seat you can pull to tilt it forward think the cable just comes away from the handle but don't know how much work is involved to re-attach it
