Ok so I need a blue one.
Like I say the brake light switch fits and basically I would have thought they were the same. Reckon this will work as a substitute?
Ok fella's i'm retro fitting cruise.
I've bought all i need off here. however my loom has a big chunky pink connector which does not match up to the switch i have for the clutch.
I have noticed that the connector is the same size as the one for the brake light switch. Will a brake light...
It's nearly MOT time and I've been doing some pre checks and one side has a little play in it.
Been to euro parts who don't stock.
Any ideas where I can get them from? The wishbones are fine so I'm just after the ball joints
I'd go with the springs.
A diesel with an induction kit? Not certain how that will fine.
Sticker bomb well I'm 33 not my cup of tea.
Get a decat and a remap would be my recommendation
Will do mate-the post cat lambda came out easy can't believe how much of a b**ch this was has been. I've got a small blow torch but it just didn't cut the mustard- couldn't even get the the thing to glow

any suggestions fellas as to why I can't get the inspection management system to switch on?

Didn't run the car whilst fitting. Replaced the sensor and switched it on to clear the codes and that was it. I didn't run the car with the sensor unplugged.
I've heard there are sometimes particular drive cycles that need to be followed to get the oxygen sensor to give a reading dependent on...
I'm going off the on board computer. However the lambda sensors affect fuelling hence the drop. My code reader is telling me that it would not pass an emissions as it has not done a full loop. So both cat and oxygen sensor is showing no ready. These need to be ready and they are not
Hiya fella's changed my post cat lambda sensor last week having had the mil light come on and having had the problem diagnosed by a garage
I bought a cheap code reader andcleared the fault code ( didn't make a note of it cos i thought it would just come back if the problem persisted).
I now...
Well I had it up on the ramps yesterday to do oil , filters and replace a dead lambda sensor and couldn't see anything a matter with rack, tre, inner cv joints. Took it down to a tyre specialist and it turns out Steve m was right. Front wheels completely out of balance. Problem now solved
Ah righty. This is on a different car. This one was for a mate
It needed a new powersteering rack. It had begun to seize inside possibly due to a lack of powersteering fluid.
