as long as the centre bore is right then yes they will fit. if the bore is too big you will need spiggot rings if the bore is too small they will need machining out.
I kind of regret not buying a 530d but i was put off with running costs and the costs of parts. it was group 16 only did 30mpg and if anything had gone wrong it would have cost me a fortune to put right. Everytime i see one i still wish i had one though.
i've always personally prefered open induction kits as it helps sooth out the power rather than having to wait for the 5k kick. A lot of people will dissagree with this due to heat soak but if you look at any of the big power 500+ cars they all use open induction cones.
i'd hardly class my vectra in the same league as any of those cars but it is nice to have a big comfy car as a daily and a stripped out racer just for the odd day when you feel like a blast.
my 172 is completly gutted its got one bucket seat and its not even got a dashboard so there is no way...
it pulled away easily coz the guy in the 197 couldn't drive for s**t. the sti probably wasn't mapped right as it had previously had a decat on but had the cat put back on when up for sale.
the vectra comment is about my car lol which is causing so much debate in the spotted thread on here.
As for the wrx it is really slow. I took an sti out with rexe and found the sti to be fast but too laggy for me and you have to do silly speeds for it to start being fun. It wasn't coming on...
it maybe worth just checking the dampers by jacking it up in the centre of the rear beam and undoing the two lower bolts on the rear shocks. if one has gone it will push up with no effort at all. the symtoms you are describing are the same as when one of my rear dampers failed. It'll not take...
i don't think a single person has slagged off a 197/200 in this thread. i've got a 172 as i don't like all the stabilty control and random computer crap used to help keep the 182/197/200 on the road. no need to come on calling 172's.
other people will say exactly the same thing. I know everyone love clios on here i do i'm on my second one but they are not the fastest things in the world and plenty of unsuspecting cars could give them a good run for their money with the right driver.
as for the torque point what are you...
love the debate lol all i wanted to know was if the guy was on here that way we could have all had a laugh but obviously he's not.
my clio would dick the vectra off the line anything rolling from around 30mph it would be close though.
we use the vetra as a bench mark nothings worth having...
the clio is for thrashing round country lanes and not worrying about it. with the clio being completly stripped and only on eibach springs the handling is very twichy the vectra is just planted you can chuck it into corners and it will just go round. i had a big crash in a 172 when it aquaplaned...
thats the whole idea its my car for driving to work in, its quick but draws absolutly no attention to its self also i can park it on the street with out having to worry about it. Its also fun showing people up with supposedly quick cars.
I've got a stripped out ph1 172 for fun.
I'm not claiming its a better drivers car although i do have more fun in it than i do in my phase 1 172 as its far more planted and the torque is great. A lot of the clio boys have been really impressed with it when we have done cross country blasts.
Its all down to the driver ,good driver in...
Good try but no cigar. You really should have been faster as i had four people in and you were on your own.
never underestimate diesel barges. Your car did look very nice though :)
the three passengers are cliosport members before all the doubters start with the comments.
yeah i want to keep it looking stealth i don't really want to draw any attention to myself.
It got lowered as it failed its mot as the standard suspension was shot at it had one leaky damper and a cracked spring.
