I don't think there would be an issue, I had a lease car that was in the lease company's name for the first year and then mine after, just happened that way, I think it pushed my premium up a little though.
There is a difference between owner and registered keeper ;)

Anyone know why my rear brake light cluster keeps blowing brake light bulbs? - literally will only last 3 days max.

Everytime she switches on her headlights at night she loses the use of her indicators, her radio, and her speedo goes all the way around to 140.

Driving down the road and I think my drivers headlight is shaking? Everytime I hit a hard bump is flickers or shakes, not sure which.

I'd probably stick a jack under the engine with a block of wood on it and then change 1 mount at a time.
My mounts have just started to fail and these are on the cars for next month, I'll be doing these 2 and a polybushed dogbone mount.
Thats a good point actually, probably isn't that bad because its probably been doing it for years, it just looks awful.
I got a few oil leaks to sort on mine, I'm pretty sure the oil breather on the cam cover is leaking into cylinder 3 & 4.
From my experience with some of the sports cats they fit on the Zetec S (Ford I know) you have to take the car out for a right blast can get the cat cooking before it'll pass a emissions test.

I got a horrendous leak from the bottom and I can only image the inner CV boots, those 3 seals and the gearbox plug washer being the source of the leaks.
So if I can do those 3 seals with the gearbox in situ that would...
Sorry to steal the thread but....
Mine looks horrendous under cogbox, I'm pretty sure the gearbox has never been refilled and its covered in oil, it looks really really bad.
If I were to replace the selector shaft seal would I eliminate the leaking or do they still leak afterwards?
I would assume the shocks are original and the car has done 62k on a 53plate.
My plan this weekend was to get it on the ramp and see if it was leaking, I just thought I'd ask to see if it were common or it maybe another reason.

Beginning of the week my car developed a lovely banging noise going over bumps in the road coming from the R/O/S of the car.
It sounds like the shock is worn and is bottoming out, is this a common fault on them to go through shocks? Or could it be something else?
