There must be a hidden bolt somewhere, i've taken them all out it isnt budging either :P
When I was reading the workshop manual today I did notice there was a bolt behind the aircon pump which I missed.
I know halfords have three in their range, have my eye on one myself:

Cheers Mick, Ive been wanting a cup setup for some time now - guess nows a good as time a ever (the tentioner seems to be about the same price)
Does the cup aux setup use any rollers or is it just the belt ?
That's a massive help cheers, the steering on the PH1 is pretty heavy, however I've just learned the aux belt is about to give up as a tentioner is on belt so might not need to convert after all :)
Takes the PH1 out today and noticed a strong rubber smell, I've taken it back home and noticed the spring (tentioner?) on the aux belt is pressing against the belt !? Where is this tentioner meant to be sitting ?
I think I saw the mention of them when I skimmed the guide, they are above the pedals, really not hard to take out (Especially when you have snapped the unit it with pliers piece by piece ;) )
Edit: 4th last page in PMS guide :approve:
OCZ's support is a bit of a PITA, they are in taiwan or something - my mate sent his drive off for replacement and it was gone for weeks :( Just hoping my Agi isnt on the way out, it's failed to post properly a handful of times now.
Does anybody know if the electric power steering systems fitted to the 1.2/1.4/DCi models has a detached ecu or is it coded to the cars primary ecu ?
Cheers
Paul
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
Looking cracking fella, it's like reading what I did to mine only quicker then I did xD I agree about the rear lights, they just need a good polish after 10+ years of beatting - one of the largest improvements i've did on mine along with a new throttle cable...
Anybody would be angry and want to beat the sh1t out of him, the difference is the ones who would actually do it - personally id be waiting for the police to arrive, what if he pulls a knife (Or as this is America, a gun)
Your fucked and over what, some damage to your car ?
Yes i'd be pissed...
Personally, id save the cash and take it to a track day - as the others have mentioned, there is no real value for money way of tuning these to considerable gains - boost/throttle bodies are going to cost 2k+ (I would simply argue here to get a phase 1, strip it and tune it - but then im bias...
Quite the collection she has... Nipple slip

Yep, read the fine print on the site when I did mine, you can display your old tax disk for up to 5 days as long as the new tax disk has been purchased before the current has expired.
I thought this at first, but if I was using those points to pull the engine out i'd be sure as hell they where bolted to high heaven - probably just rattled off with it being bolted directly to the engine.
It's likely a build up of installed applications running in the background, your google tools bars and what not. Either that or an over zealous antivirus.
Start > Run > MSCONFIG > Startup
Untick everything (Within Reason - Google Updater for example)
Apply > OK > Restart Machine
Always wondered on the dry sump systems, how do you service the oil system ? isn't it meant to have an external reservoir ?
Sorry for gtfo question, just never really messed with one :rasp:
Will have to try on a new board, sadly my motherboard passed away today due to a faulty hex core lol pretty sure it's fried the CPU voltage controllers :(
