Use the Ferrodo FDB 845 pads from Halfords I used them and they were great only very serious track work killed them and that was Bedford no other track killed them.
When you take the wheel off you'll understand whats going on you need to hold the inside bolt with a spanner. If you try and...
£3.2k isn't to bad depnds what sort of warently they'd give. you cna buy the parts for £1.5k+ vat but with a new clutch and cambelt and bushes say £2k+ vat. Then fdo it yourself in say a week or get a garage to do it which will range from £500 to £1.5k depends if they want a project like this to do.
I forget exactly how much fuel is still supposed to be in the system but i think its 3 liters. However the gauge tolerance is so much that you could have anywhere from 1 liter to 4 liters. Running right down though you might have trouble as the fuel pump might not be able to get all the fuel out...
Might as well get a second hand one from a breakers yard the Cups are quite prown to crashing.
If your particualy big then the side bolsters are prown to wear.
Nope. Just get the normal one it covers most stuff I have a PDF file covering the engine on the 172 etc which the Haynes manual doesn't cover.
If you want a copy Pm me your email address.
Modifying cars is never value for money so just do waht you want.
Always inform insurance about mods. A forum member of here crashed his car and insurance refused to pay out luckily ther were no other parties involved otherwise they could take him to court. In the end he had to pay for fix...
As Cliohuint said the engine are different the blocks are similar in the 130 and 150 but internal engine components (ie piston) are different as well as turbo intercooler etc.

Your car assuming you get spacers and the whole kit would look like a 172.
Lowering it isn't difficult if you just want it for looks and not peofrmance new springs are cheap doesn't take long to fit depends who you are I take my time so personally its about 2.5 hours.
The 172 is 15~20m...
You need to find if your car has a turbo from the agae I'd think not it will be the none turbo engine. To see if you do have a look down the back of the engine see if the exhaust manifold goes straight done or if there a turbo there.
Just sticking a turbo on your car is a waste of time...
172 is lower by about 15~20mm also it has a wider frotn end track.
Then you'll have to think about brakes if you want to complte the look the 172 has front bigger disks and rear disk which you car won't.
For the parts you need ie bumpers side skirts you can try Renault but its pricy best bet...
The exhaust problem is down the lack of mounts nto the mounts which are there. The easy answer is to have another bracket welded on to hold the rear box.
Leda or H and R are the best but there more like £1k and 700 respectfully.
Personally unless your willing to spend that much stock is a great setup if you need new dampers there only £170 or so.
Koni out of those choice I had Spax and whilst they were oK there were problems.
Eisbeck and Koni shocks are great but I'd try Blistein stuff personally if you want spend a bit more £300 or so for dampers and then either theown own springs or other types.
You need to get a new one prssed in either take the car to a garage who will remove the hub push the old bearing out and a new one in or take it off yourself and take the hub down and get them to push a new one in for about £10.
