Sorry to drag this one back up, but my car does this also, another 182.
And its definately something engine wise, as it happens in any gear, but only when you put your foot down. Its been into Renauly twice for it and they cant seem to find what it is. They originally thought it was the air...
Thanks Dave thats cleared that one up.
If it where me id have put "182" on them but shes having none of it :)
Middo, I paid £60 + delivery for them, and they are still in exactly the same condition, Brand new, still in packaging, so ideally want my money back on them, but would accept £60...
Very strange. They are genuine renault parts as i still have all the packaging here.
The part numbers are 7701206827 and 7701206828.
and i believe they are just under £100 from the dealers.

My GF has a FF 182, with both cup packs and her sills have just the Renault Sport logo and no aditional bit.
The ones ive bought i thought where for any 182 and indeed they will fit any 182 its just that they have the "No." bit at the end. So i think they must be for a limited edition 182 or...
yeah my GF's original ones just say renault sport but these ones have the additional bit at the end.
They also come with a set of stick on numbers, 3 of each number, so the highest number you can do with all three digits the same is 999.
Mark
Anyone shed any light on this.
I bought some sill plates to replace the ones on my GF's 182 FF which have a few scuffs on them, when they arrived they are exactly the same apart from they have "No." to the right of the renault sport logo. She doesnt like that so they got to be ebayed...
usually as big a f number as possible (i.e. very small aperture) and also the smallest ISO number your camera will handle usually 100, to keep noise to a minimum.

in case no one has found it yet its here on youtube if you just want to watch it as i dont think you can download it.

great pics, presume they're taken with a decent camera.
Are they taken at night or during the day, if by night would love to know the camera settings?
:)
Yes they all do it, my girlfriend took her 182 into Renault and they printed out a page from the computer from Renault UK, which explains its a design of the engine to get the cat upto operating efficiency quicker which helps emissions.

Girlfriend took her car to renault in Gemini, warrington for some warranty work and they were excellent, very punctual called when they said they would, explained everything really clearly to her and never made her feel uncomfortable.
Im not sure how good their prices are, as i said it was...
Might be a silly question but can the wheels be removed, as i want the black one but with the anthrasite cup wheels on?? So if they are i could buy both and swap the wheels over :D
Mark
If that was me in the focus RS, id have moved over as soon as i realised you where obviously so much quicker than me, then i would have tried to follow and keep up, as he obviously had no idea about racing line and would have learnt so much about lines and braking points and been so much quicker...
there light for a reason though, no airbags and no NCAP testing so presumably no heavy impact structure to pass these tests, would never like to have a crash in one !!
Although they do sound great and are still safer than any bike :)

^^
sorry for going way off topic :(
id agree with the above, you shouldnt have too much trouble getting what you want for around £9500 if you dont mind holding out for the right car.
Mark
i think the white with blue stripes look really good, just couldnt live with it day to day bit too much for me, im getting old now :)
Ive gone for black, because all the other ford colours have horrendous problems with the paint match between the front bumper and front wings.
Id have...
I like the LCR's such good value for money. when released there wasnt much else you could buy with the same power for the same money they really raised the stakes with the LCR.
Ive currently got an Audi S3 and am waiting for a Focus ST 3 to be delivered :)
Have Fun

My GF had £8500 tops to spend. so told him this and he said no probs come and see it, so we knew he would take lower before we went.
GF is made up, the gold black is superb, when clean and the sun reflects off it, and she loves the darker wheels.
Have fun in the Megane :) youll love the...
so my GF got a good deal then, the extra 12k on the car she has bought has saved her over 2k :)
she only does 6k a year so it'll be down to average mileage in 12 months and then below average in 2 years.
Mark
that is an excellent price. especially considering mileage.
Car above is actually girlfriends car and she originally wanted a 172 in red, but when we saw the black 05 reg with both cup packs for not much more than she was going to spend it had to be worth a look, and it all turned out good...
not for sale anymore :)
that is the cheapest ive seen by a long way all the other 05 private ones ive seen are around the 10k mark, usually 10k+ (and there arent many about), with 04/54's being 9kish again usually upwards of 9k too.
Mark
if you get a normal 182 but order both the suspension and spoiler packs did you also get the anthracite wheels or where these just on the 'cup' model?
Cheers
Mark
thats complete b****cks the vvc engine loves to rev, and has very good torque across the entire rev range, very good engine in an ageing chassis.
172 all the way though, 172 has more power, less weight and handles better.
