my temp gauge went on mine, didnt go nuts, but just read zero all the time, made the car idle at around 2000 rpm as the car "thought" the engine was cold, when infact it was warm,
quite a common issue from what I understand,
Was fixed under wty, all ok since,
touches wood quickly!!!
we have one at work, never used it on my car, but its really good on our shop windows etc, the blade is very soft compared to older simular products so it gos over slight bends and curves very well,
hi,
Took car into reno to be fixed today. On the way driving to the garage the bloody temp gauge starts working again and the idle dropped back to normal! - left it with them anyway, Turns out it was a faulty temp sensor,
Thanks for all you replys and help,
Im now enjoying a normal...
6 degrees, about the warmest its been since having the car, though its done nothing likethis before, almost seamed like "the choke" was on although the engine was warm. would it make sense that if the temp sensor has packed up the car doesnt know when or how much fuel to put into the engine as...
Hi,
Wondered if anyone can offer any insight into this? Alll was ok with the 182, I went out for a 5 mile journey to collect the misses, then stopped off at the supermarket for some last minute mothers day flowers etc. upon re starting the car it died, so I tried again (it was a bit hesitant...
O/T, you from round there, Im in Paignton :)
Guy who had my 172 before me put an rgm splitter on it, think it suits the car in this colour (black) but would look pap in any other.
All these people from torbay - there will be enough of us soon to start a meet down here!!
Hey Mike,
Would that be the main Renault dealer based in exeter on a large ind est??
Just had a "run in" my self with them, not service related, but finance related,
damm!!!
Theres that plan gone!!!!
any ideas on what I could do?? - also can anyone reccomend where I can get a nice set of mats from for the car??
I hoped that renault would do a nicely badged "renault sport" set but it seems not,
thanks again
Hi all,
A quick question regarding alloy wheels, I want to send a couple of mine off of my 182 to get some kerb marks sorted out, though whilst that is being done it presents a small problem if i want to use the car!!!
Will either alloys off of a 01 plate golf GTI fit or off a year 2000...
are all these above items only available when you order a new car, or can you ad them at a later date?? (mainly refering to the suspension and spoiler packs)
cheers,
anthony
Hi,
I would welcome any advice/views on what is the best radar detector on the market. I have heard a lot mentioned about the roadangel 2, is this the "gadget" of the moment?
ALso do these detectors have to be mounted on the dah or simular to allow them to work? - some of them look rather...
many thanks,
I am test driving one tomorrow and cant wait :-)
If I do end up with a "non cupped" one do you mean it is about £300 to "upgrade" the looks to that of the cup?
what extras spec do the non cup cars come with in leiu of the suspension and body parts?
thanks again...
Hi all,
Would be very gratefull if you guys could answer a few point for me. I am looking to buy a nearly new 182, Am I correct in thinking that most people prefer to buy a std model, then add the cup parts to it rather than just buy the cup model.
If so, how much are the "cup" bits as...
