You need anti virus software dude. Get AVG free edition. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/ Then update it before you run the scan. If that doesn't work, download Stinger from the McAfee site and install it on that drive.

In the advanced security section for that share, who is the owner?

Did you check the security permissions for the share? Have you rebooted the machines?

You can always tweak it! Disable File Indexing in XP and Vista, makes it run quicker, but searches are slower.

Are you using a proxy server? If not, got to tools, internet options, Connections, Lan settings and untick all the boxes. Failing that, run spybot and adaware.

Uninstall Norton, and throw it in the bin. THis is probably whats causing your problem. Use AVG Free, and use the windows firewall that came with SP2.

What version of the driver do you have? I used to get this error, a later version of the graphics driver fixed it. Also, update Vista asap, they just released patched for graphic card errors.

Download spybot, update it and run it on your pc. Is it only those sites you can't access? Can you access other secure sites? eg. another financial institution.

Can he access those sites? If so, it's your pc. Check for spyware and check your browser security settings.

Indeed, don't run Vista with a 60GB HDD also. No room for p**n.
