Even us ordering a batch of 10 means we make VERY little money on them at £500, and the money we do make isn't really profit due to the development costs. We could get a batch of 5 done but from what i remember i think we'd have to sell them at around £800!

There are all sorts of tricks you can try, the other is to go down your local carpet shop and ask for an off cut of some premium underlay. Or as Fred said, a bit of dynamat but thats really money for old rope when the sound deadening pads will do as good a job if you double them up.

The 180 degree trumpets are to increase the length of the inlet tract to improve the midrange. The other way to achieve the correct length is to cut the scuttle panel.

There is no comparison to be made between a powerflow (even the good ones that are few and far between) and a BTB. All you'll get with a powerflow is some tailpipes and some noise, which is fine if thats all you want, but if you want proven performance gains then you need to look elsewhere.

I wasn't aware you could get a miltek for £300? i thought it was more like £425? Also, its not just the increase in performance you pay for its the quality of the product as well. Despite being more expensive than other systems it still represents excellent value for money.

Thats a btb you have there. I seem to remember with that car that there was a slight problem with the cat which caused it to blow slightly. The olive flange on the cat has been poorly formed which makes it a bugger to seal it properly. With a bit of jiggling round and small bit of sealing...

Yeah, the exhausts that BTB make for Aston martin are there race exhuasts and the aftermarket systems available as part of the prodrive kit, they also make all the prodrive subaru WRC and grp n systems (the group n's are titanium as its not outlawed in the same way as it is in the WRC, go figure)
