I have W5 CUP and as above, was already on the car when I got it. Out of interest, how much did you pay? I had mine valued on one of those sites at 500 but doubt very much I could ever get that much.

As above, Osram Nightbreakers are very good, and a reasonable price too.

Not 100% sure, I have read that you can burn them to CD and load them onto your hard-drive that way.

I had this and eventually they started to very slowly deflate. Not worth the risk imo, could go bang or just deflate completley.

I was talking about wrapping them, mine doesnt peel at all, but if I want it back to standard then its simple enough.

If unlaquerd it'll just peel off, pretty sure it'll be the same with laquer too.

I recently did mine with the 3m carbon, I like it and i've seen a few others that have done it too.

Seem to be getting an exhaust knock when cornering over rough road. Its quite a loud clunk, almost sounds like its hitting the subframe, but I can never replicate it when parked and checking it over. Tends to only be tighter corners with a few bumps inbetween. I have a powerflex dogbone and...

Ah right, it does sound like the exhaust is blowing from somewhere when I drive with the window down, more noticable when driving past parked cars or a wall. The cat / mani gasket was changed when the cambelt was done so dont think its that. Just a case of sticking my head down by the exhaust...

I thought it could be, but it doesn't seem to be coming from near the pulley. Frustrating as I only had the cambelt done in December last year :(

I've recently noticed this ticking sound coming from the engine, but cant work out if its the injectors or something more sinister? Sorry about the poor video quality, its the repeated tick almost in the the background, any ideas what it could be?

Road noise isnt too bad, its more when pushing it round corners as above. I'm pretty sure its due to the soft sidewall, but It's no problem, I can just be a bit picky lol. Coming from pe2's which were silent, grip wise, day to day driving and the odd b road blast, I couldnt tell the difference.

I have rainsports and the grip levels are great. Really soft sidewall though and the tyre noise round corners is pretty annoying.

But where's the fun in just buying a Megane? Kind of ruins the idea of having a project doesn't it?

Ktec sell genuine renault items, got mine from them and come in renault box with part no. etc.

I really like that. Even though people say it doesn't look like "real" carbon fibre, it just looks much better and a bit more up market than plain plastic. Be interesting to see it fitted.
