Sod it, I really dont want to have to take the Dash off (I am hopeless at stuff like that). Ill have to live without the stalk controls and dash display ,the Sony CDX-M8800 comes with a remote controller anyway...so it should be just a case of pulling the factory fitted one out and sliding...

Hi, I want to upgrade my Head Unit to a Sony CDX-8800 now it looks like Ill need either a PC9-112 or PC9-501 Smart Lead, does the Dash have to come off to fit both of these? Im not that bothered about maintaining the dash display (as long as it still shows Temp and Time). Thanks, Morbius

Trouble is that Im planning on selling the car over the next few weeks and Im sure that the buzzing noise could put off any potential buyers!!!

Hi, Im getting really annoyed by the amount of Stone chips all over the bonnet of my Mk2 172 (Black), it seems to attract them like a magnet. Has anyone used any of the "Stone Chip" repair people?? Are they any good??? I really dont want to go to the expense of having the entire bonnet...

The problem is that they are colour coded Door Mirrors, so I cant just use a normal "Black" Clio housing it has to be from a Mk2 Pearlescent Black 172, which seriously reduces my chances of getting one from a scrappie...Ive had two get back to me offering Silver ones but no black!! I may end up...

No they are not amped...thats a project for another day, but its suprising how much difference just changing the speakers makes. The standard speakers dont look like much I would guess they are very cheap. I also used some spring washers when fitting the new speakers to make sure they were...
