Ask if it's had the cam belt changed - should be changed after 5 years or 72k I think (some recommend changing it at 60k). If not you're looking at a ~£500 bill this year which you might want to use to haggle with.

The problem came back last weekend so took it into the local Renault garage. Result was I needed a new UCH for £410! Ouch. Apparently a wire had come loose and burnt out the UCH.

I had the Kevlar pads on a while ago - much less brake dust than the OEM pad and the Tarox fast road pad Im on at the mo. In fact I had more brake dust on the rear wheels than the fronts with the Kevlar pads! The EBC stop pretty well too though I never had them on track. HTH G

Do you mean the stalk controls arent working? I had the same problem a while back. I checked each of the fuses one by one - none were blown but afterwards the controls were working again. I assume one of the fuses was not plugged in correctly. Give that a try.
