The rectangle area on the windsreen is for the sat nav, the screen has an antiglare plastic fitted in it and the sat navs cant get signal through it.

Think all the angles have been covered, once you get it out you will have a great glow as you beat the bugger, seem to have done the same to a few bolts on Renault seat frames, are they thread locked?
Carl
I am in Leicester city centre (www.cgcarsleicester.co.uk) if you need a second opinion, me personally i think it sounds like a coincidence, if he has drove that many miles and it was fine.
Sorry to hear this though fella, are you sure a piece of the starter motor hasnt fell in the bell...
Any local garage can do it for you, its a messy job so it needs to be done in a well ventilated area, if you want to tackle it yourself you can buy it in an aerosol form, i think a aerosol tin is around £6 each, they are small tins but do go quite a long way.

Not on a clio but on my 306, i decided to polish the lip up on the passenger side front on a kerb the other day, upset me just a little.-
Never realised these wheels were so popular:evil:

Just have a good look around and take it for a drive, i have a low mileage car and its great as it has minimal rattles and everything is nice and tight.
Just ignore the miles and inspect it like you would any other.

Seen this car in the flesh, it was at the audio place i took mine too, Plush automotive in Broughton Astley leicester, the work on that car will be top notch.
I like it but as you say its a little dear to say the least.
Carl
Me neither, if you look at the good ones they seem to fetch a premium, i would'nt let mine go for anyless than the above.
Its like all the older stuff the fiesta xr2's etc if in good nick they fetch good money.

Looks great, i have one just like it in blue. Great cars, had one as my first car many years ago but never realised what i had so went out and done it again-
Then i put this in there-
More pictures at www.cgcarsleicester.co.uk under the projects section.
If you havent driven one...
It seems quite common for the bolts to come loose on the handbrake, as a said above aslong as its all nice and tight and work how it should it will be fine.
Good luck with the re test.

Evening Mr Wickerman, you may know me from the other forum lol.
Hope things are all good, give it time it will sell, there a buyer for evey car out there.
Carl
Agree with above the dephaser pullies are quite common but more so on the megane models.
The part is around £100 to buy and is a main dealer part only, if your in there then i would have the complete cam belt setup replaced too as a precaution.
Carl
I dont quite get your logic, if you work for a warranty company i imagine you get a few of these pop up that you as a company have to pay out on, they are more or less a sealed unit, if its failed then thats it, it has to be replaced, what does it matter what has happened inside it etc, from...
30 (god that feels weird, only turned it yesterday)

Ha ha, yes i know that car, owners name is Ryan, that car has had alot of work done to it, some by me when he had a little incident on the M1 motorway a couple of years ago.
Thats got a 420 bhp high boost supercharged engine in it, goes very well.
Carl
Great cars, had a few of them now, the only thing is the pedals are quite close together, you soon get used to driving the car with the sides of your feet though.
Yours looks a nice example, in diablo red.
Carl
I am sure with your polish and a few rattle cans and filler you will have that looking in shape quicker than i can work out how to use my new iphone.
Carl
Very well, its a bit hard to get the power down in the wet but in the dry its fine after second.
Took it to the ring last month and had a lot of people ask me what was powering it!
Carl
Have to agree with most on this, try and get the car you want, as for respraying a car its a pain and there will always be little bits that will get missed, normally door shuts/engine bay.
Silver isnt that bad a colour anyway.
