Must admit im looking to get one of these ive just ordered a new amp (Vibe BB3). I currently have a vibe 12" active sub. Although I havent experienced it with one amp, Ive got a feeling the other electrics may suffer (power dips on bass) with two amps. Ill keep my eye on this thread me thinks. ;)

Is it an import, mines an import Y plate Mk1 15,000 on the clock FSH etc etc and a dealer said he couldnt give me any more than 5K!! I asked him if he was joking and when he said no I walked.

I noticed on my car next to the wheels there are massive circular scratches where the wheel brush has obviously missed or is still spinning when it moves up the side of the car. I wouldnt mind but ive only used the carwash twice!!

It was the relays......ALL THREE!! :o Basically some.....ok alot of water had found its way in and fooked the lot. Got two new ones they are in and now the car starts but the other one is for the cooling fan so I need to avoid traffic jams until Renault get me the part. Thanks again.

Another thing should I be able to hear the fuel pump prime when I turn on the ignition? Ive had a quick listen at the rear quarter of the car but cant hear anything?

Have checked all the fuses under the bonnet they seem ok but they 50 + 60 amp ones so I havent got any spare to check properly. As for relays they seem to make all the right clicking noises.

Mk1 172 I went to start my car today it started for a split second then cut out. Now it wont start, its turning over but not firing I think the fuel pump has gone. Is there such thing as a fuel pump fuse and if so where is it located. Im really tearing my hair out on this one!!

take the fuse off the cable connect the cable to the battery and amp then put the fuse back in.

I just clipped mine straight on you may see sparks, they look bad but they wont hurt you, Wear rubber glove if have too :). I connected my earth to the rear seat belt coil.

I think warm to cold start problems are common on Renaults in general, I seem to remember that been mentioned on top gear, 5th gear, pulling Power or Deals on Wheels I cant remember. :confused:

I use the Reanult Formula 1 spray one week then Wonder Wheels the next. I use a paint brush with the Wonder Wheels though that little brush they supply makes it harder work. The wheels always look alot brighter after the Wonder Wheels though. Every couple of months I take the wheels off and...

Have you thought about keeping your car giving it stiffer suspension (faster around corners) and uprated brakes (later braking). you car will feel faster, oh yeah a loud exhaust to put a smile on your face as well. :D

Drill through the bulk head stick your cable through then seal it. I used bathroom and kitchen seal, oh yeah then I covered the lot with no more nails. :D
