If you wanna do it on a budget, my boyf got the Sony Xplod 6x9s and 8" sub (built in amp) all for about £250 and it is amazing, didnt think itd be that good! Just an idea as something to start you off?!!!!
Hi Paul,
I think white alloys would look ok, its down to personal preference though. But I wouldnt refurb the standard alloys in white, not sure if theyd look right. Better off just buying white alloys if thats what you wanna go for! Chrome would look nice on a blue valver.

Yeah I agree with you there! What I meant was, if you go for a valver, try to get leather interior as it looks better than cloth interior! :) Saw a nice Williams the other day in a multi-storey, so I went over to have a closer look, (as you do) and it had cloth interior!!!! It just didnt...
Go for the valver! Not that my opinion is biased or anything!!! And try to get one with lowish miles and leather interior as it looks so much better! ;)
Thats a shame mate, looked well nice. Just that I saw one that looked the same as yours in my home town the other day. Probably aint the same one, but it had red mud flaps the same as yours. Cant be too many black evos around with red mud flaps? Or are there?
I was thinking about getting a...
My valver has got leather interior, nice! ;) Bit hot in the summer though (skirts!), but worth it!
It is personal choice with the Ph1 and Ph2, I personally prefer the Ph1, but as Ben H says, there really isnt much difference at all.
Thanks , Ill give the electrical cleaner a go, think I might need an auto-electrician though. Was hoping to sort it without taking it to a garage cos I reckon itll cost quite a few pennies to fix! Trouble is, if I get it fixed, Im worried about it leaking again, cos vaseline aint gonna work...
If its any help, mine did (dont at mo - see fused electrics topic!). Ive got a concept 300 and its well sensitive, my alarm is on the left side in the engine bay, so any slight vibrations on the left set it off, but the weather didnt affect it (only recently when it rains cos of leaking...
Hi Everyone,
Ive got a problem with my 16v, the sunroof seal was leaking (now sorted thanks to a tub of vaseline!!!) but its eroded most of the electrics - clifford proximity unit, renault chip board for alarm and central locking and some fuses. So now I cant set my clifford alarm (the...
Hi Gemma,
Im new to Cliosport too!!!
At 19 I got my first car - a 91 1.4 RT and my ins was £775 fully comp. Im now 24 and have got a 93 Mk1 16v and my ins is just under £500 fully comp. It shouldnt cost you a packet, especially if you start off with a 1.2 or 1.4!

Im 24 and have got 4yrs NCB and have just had my insurance renewal come through and although its quite a good price at £484 fully comp on my mk1 16v, Im only saving approx £10 on last years price! Ive tried other companies, but theyre quoting even more with higher excesses!!!!!
Also, I havent...
Ive got the same problem at the moment and is due to my sunroof leaking. Unfortunately when it rains hard, water leaks in from the sunroof seal and comes through my interior light and electric sunroof switch, hence HUGE problem!!!! This has possibly either blown a fuse or its made the switch...
Green must be the rarest colour, I havent come across one yet! Although there doesnt seem to be many 16vs in my area, Ive noticed more black and red ones than other colours, blue is quite common too. Ive seen one or two grey and silver ones, but was shocked when I saw a white 16v in my town, I...
