To accompany my 7D on a trip to Vietnam we bought a Olympus XZ-2 as a good all-rounder with fast lens and reasonable zoom.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and sharpness of pictures, well worth taking a look at too.
Had a nice break in Vietnam, which is a very photogenic country, here is one of my favourite people shots from the Bac Ha Market in North West Vietnam.

So ages since I posted in here and I must say the quality of photos is really impressive.
Here's a photo I took last night in one of the new U-Bahn stations in Hamburg.

As Dan said, some really cracking shots on this page which warrant a place on the wall. Looks like a fantastic experience, and this thread in general is a great read - good job
iOS 5.1 Keyboard Bug
Couldn't see anything on this subject....
Has anyone noticed since updating my iPhone 4 to 5.1 that after using the search function the keyboard won't disappear... I have use sleep or open and close an app?
Video calling works well providing you're on WiFi (can use front or rear camera), although people watching you make feel a little ill if you walk about while talking and they have a tendency towards motion sickness....
Some great shots in this thread.

It's a great lens, although sadly mine is broken.... however I'd hardly call it fast (fast to focus but not really a 'fast' lens) and when shooting on a crop you tend to need a shutter speed of around 1/300s or higher to ensure a sharp image, I am not saying it can't be held at a slower speed -...
Lol, true - but it didn't deserve a thread of it's own and will serve to remind me not to do this next time. As for repair price....god knows, never had a lens repaired before, plus there is also the worry that it might never quite be the same. Some of my best photos have been taken with this...
First you need to set up in iTunes. Connect iPhone with Mac (or PC ugghhh dirty word) and iTunes and then tick the "Sync Wirelessly option", from then on your iPhone will Sync wirelessly whenever connected to the same WiFi network AND when your iPhone is charging / plugged in to mains.
So my morning commute in Hamburg along the Elbe River - cracking sunrise and steaming water - captured with my iPhone.
