A 172 Cup with a CS tax disc holder and OMP steering wheel.
Also two BlackGold V6's. One was an 04 plate and the other a 55. The 55 plate had yellow AP callipers and anthracite wheels with yellow OZ decals/detailing.
Did a track day today at Donington and just thought I'd share a few pictures (pictures taken by Xtreme Sports Photography). It was my first track day experience and I'll certainly be doing more in the future as it was epic fun, would have liked a few more sessions out on track though. I had some...
Had a track day at Donington on Monday and amongst other cars there were four Clio Cup cars there. Bloody fast and they clearly knew the track as they were taking everything in sight.
Took a couple of other pics, A Formula Renault, sticker on the back couldn't have been truer, and the Atom was...
After a successful outing at Zolder, last weekend it was back to the UK and to the penultimate round of Lotus Cup. This time up it was Donington, on the GP circuit which would be a first for me. The race weekend layout was an odd one, half a test day on Thursday, track day on Friday (on the...
Hey All,
Bit of a catchup, BTCC from a week ago. My resounding memory of that event will be the rain. And then more recently GT1/BGT from Donington, which will be remembered for the appalling traffic getting there and back (although i did love the event).
So here we go with some BTCC. C&C much...
After blowing the new engine up at Donington last time out, I managed to partially re-build the old engine and get it into the car before this round. But with limited time off work, I didn't manage a trip to the rollers to get the carb set up, so just had to run with what I had.
Got up to...
This is only my third trackday but I've got the bug good style!!!

I went to the Donington Historic Festival again this year, but due to freezing my arse off on the Saturday, I didn't bother going back on the Sunday. :o
I've been a bit busy, but here are a few pics from the Saturday. The full gallery is here...
Spent yesterday at Donington to see the Historic Festival, the weather was great and the machinery there was out of this world! My car of the show was 212 DP, just sublime :approve:
I also spent some time trying panning shots, they aren't too great so if you have got any tips I'll gladly take...

Ended up with some reasonable pics.

Plagued by the fences in most of them and finding the 350D troublesome in reviewing the shots I have taken these days.
Thoughts and feedback...
So this weekend was the turn of Donington to host the BTCC. Probably my least favourite circuit on the calendar, however it was the first time i spent 2 days there. So i had a bit more time to look out some interesting shots compared to previous years, so i am happier with the shots, but i think...
Yesterday was the 4th, 5th and 6th rounds of the BTCC weekend. Along with my unglamourous hungover assistant Naith we headed over to Donington. The last time I was here was when Naith tracked in 2009 here, he's always said its the best UK circuit and maybe because of age and the fact I never...
Hi all
Just to confirm all the 180 slots are away and the £15 x 15 minutes going really well. I strongly suspect it will all be gone by show day.
You need to either bring a helmet (any kite mark helmet is permitted - and no cycle !) You can hire on the day for £10 but its worth hunting...
Meguiar's Top 25 at French Car Show – 17th June, 2012 Donington
We need more applications!
Meguiar’s will again bring us the top 25 French Cars stand located in the heart of the showground outside the Flux Paddock Suite (between clubs and trade paddocks).
Each successful entrant will get...
Pretty damn wet most of the day, but car went very well and the tyres (Federal 595 RS-Rs) were awesome again :)
Aquaplaning through Craner was pretty fun!
Haven't done a report for a while, i've been waiting for videos but its taking so long i thought i'd crack on. We were at Donington at the weekend, the home of our first ever race a few years back in the original NSX. Despite the 'developments' to turn it into an F1 circuit, other than the...
Really good fast flowing circuit, ran a single seat in the morning and two seats after lunch. I had alternator problems yet again, but managed to sort that at lunchtime thanks to someone having a spare. A couple of clips from throughout the day:
Here is my first ever attempt at recording on track. The video quality isn't as good as I hoped, it looks like the camera was focusing on the bugs on my windscreen rather than the track :o
This is the second session as the camera wasn't set up for the first. I'm my Megane R26 following...
Popped down for a few hours this morning but left around 1ish.
EDIT: They lose a lot of quality when linked on here :dapprove:
Some c*nt driving a German barge, well trying to drive.

So this weekends 4 wheeled fix came in the form of WTCC @ Donington Park, probably one of my least favourite circuits in the country and because of the strange way that it was time tabled it involved a 4.15 start for the drive up and leaving the circuit at 3.00!?
The circuit being used was the...
Had my best ever weekend this weekend, started well in the morning with no problems with the car which sailed through scruitineering for the first time! Some friends had arrived with a banner of support too:
Qualifying started slowly as I had new front tyres to scrub in, as well as front...
RACE REPORT:
Saturday 28th May 2011 - Donington Park
Our 2nd race of the season was at Donington Park. To try and sort out our handling woes, we managed to get a few hours on the trackday the day before. We arrived around 11am and set up our new 'Circus Tent'
It took quite a while...
