Hi, just wondering how many drain holes they should have? Looks like there should be 2 at each side of the front but if they are drain holes they're blocked! The only one that drains is the drivers side rear one.
Just wanted to verify that they are drain holes before I go poking them :)
Thanks...
Hey.
I'm looking at getting some decent rubber for the clio.
I've decided on the rainsport3's! However there are three types: 83V, 83Y and the 87Y XL
What do these figures relate to? Sidewall stiffness?
Which one should I go for? I do a 12 mile commute to work on standard 30/40mph roads. No...
Looking for a wet set of tyres for track days after my 888s got a little swamped last night at Brands... I've come across rainsport 3 as a recommendation but curious if there is anything else??
Camskill have them at £35 a corner can't really complain at that cost can you ?
Any thoughts?
Hello to you all. I have chance to buy really well maintained clio 1.6 petrol auto with only 66k miles. There's one problem- battery goes flat overnight or maybe over little longer. With engine off, I found ~500mAh drain on + wire going to fuse box in engine bay, nothing on other one + going in...
Hi everyone, recently my Xenons have been playing up, at first it was after I had washed the car and the passenger side xenon wasn't working, so I swapped over the igniter packs and they worked again. Skip forward a couple of weeks and we had some rain, nothing too bad but I noticed the drivers...
Hi all.
Got abit of a strange problem.
Whenever there is a heavy downpoor, my car starts running like s**t. it feels super sluggish, struggles to reach over 3krevs, and if left to idle (I.e at traffic lights, in traffic etc) the revs drop super low and it wont then rev over 500rpm! I have to...
Help!
My friend has recently purchased an MX5, it's a MKII 1.8 Icon, with 140bhp and a 6 speed Manual gearbox.
On paper it's a walkover.
But I cannot shift him.
I have a low mileage 182 FF with both cup packs and in a straight line there is really not much in it, I don't start to gain any...
As the title suggests, has anyone managed to get around this problem.
I was thinking the raincatcher could be blocked this would allow the airbox to remain.
or
fit an induction kit and remove the e7j airbox so the raincatcher is able to fit inside when the bonnets closed?
I have a mk2 clio 1.2. It's done 135k and was a work horse but the clutch has given up and considering it's only worth a couple hundred quid I'm going to let it go to the scrap heap. Now I have around half a tank of fuel in it (£30 roughly) and want to get it out.
Anybody know the easiest way...
Hello all,
My name is Jon and I’m looking for some advice please :)
I have recently developed a battery drain issue on my Clio 182. The car isn't in daily use at the moment as I use a van for work and sometimes it isn't used from one weekend to the next.
The problem started about 3 weeks...

I've been on at them for a while to let me loose on it and get it cleaned up, so they called me last week to see about me selling it for them so they don't have to deal with loads of...
Fitted a rain sensor screen to my car, serial line to uch, electronic earth and the other one which is part of the system in the roof. Also got a rain sensor/variable wiper speed stalk.
Gone into clip, says it's not set to have rain sensor which is what I expected. When I go to reconfigure it...
Afternoon,
So in my wisdom of stripping my clio i cut the cable to the rain sensor and lost the end with the plug on it.
What effect does it actually have to the wipers? And could it be whats causing the SERV light to be on as no fault codes on Rstuner?
Regards
I am looking at getting myself some new tyres all round and have seen these

Just in the process of fixing my rain/light sensor on the windscreen.
I've pulled the wires out to check connections but have managed to jumble them up.
Which order do they sit in the sensor? There's a pink, black and yellow wire.
Just to confirm, these are the wires that poke out of the...

Where are the drainage holes located under the scuttle panel?
Ive got a puddle in the passenger foot well and i wanna know where its coming from, the water is comming from under the dash
Thanks
Few pictures from the wash today.
Had some Eibach Sportlines fitted a couple of weekends ago and this is the first chance I've had to give it a wash and admire the difference.
You mentioned it easier in the rain mate looks like its going to rain here and I want to give the car a going over. What's the pros to this? No suds stay on the bodywork they wash right off so no streaks?
gally
Cheers mate
